Agents boast SOLGAS is a proven and sure product

SOLGAS Facility at Fond Cole

SOLGAS, formerly known as Shellane, is a part of Dominica’s history since the 1940s.  Throughout these years Shellane became a household name for the provision of ‘cooking gas’ – LPG 20lbs and 100lbs cylinders.

From the onset of it’s entry into the market the Shellane, now SOLGAS, brand has proven its reliability of supply, dependability and quality of the product.  These, together with the years of consistent service by one of the leading businesses in Dominica, ensures the SOLGAS will always be a proven and reliable product.

The SOLGAS Depot is located in Fond Cole, operated by local Agents from the entry of Shellane, now SOLGAS, into Dominica’s market, H.H.V. Whitchurch & Co. Ltd..  Whitchurch works closely with SOLGAS EC Limited to ensure that the product and quality maintain a high standard.

SOLGAS is sold nationwide by an impressive group of resellers totaling upwards of fifty-seven businesses, some of which have more than one location.  With a fortnightly tanker supply of SOLGAS into Dominica, continued educational programs within the communities such as the Goodwill Summer Program hosted this year, SOLGAS continues to ensure that the product and service extend beyond the provision of LPG to Dominicans.

Reliable yes but pricey/expensive for years now, in the name of big profits! Just as the Tiwanese/Chinese brought down the price of numerous commodities, freeing Dominicans from the stranglehold of the milat-wozo for so many years, so I hope the Venezuelans will bring down the price of LPG gas for us in the years to come.
Competition – see Cables an Wireless for pricing strategies and bring down the damn price!
