CEO of Q95, Sheridan Gregoire, has revealed that talk show host and investigative journalist, Angelo Allen, is no longer at the radio station.
However, he said he did not wish to comment on the matter since it was Allen’s personal decision to quit.
Fans of the talk show host have taken to social media as they queried his whereabouts.
“Mayday, mayday!! We are worried about the whereabouts of Angelo Allen,” a post on Facebook said.
Another post reads, “It’s been how many weeks since the programmes hosted by Mr Angelo Allen has been off the radio and no one could be bothered to inform the listening public as to the circumstances. Yet the station is always the first to highlight the fact that the PM don’t do press conferences and don’t inform the people. So tell me what is the difference of the disrespect from both parties in their actions.”
Known for his fiery rhetoric and uncompromising opinions, Allen was a staple on Q95 and has accumulated a large fan base.
Attempts to contact Allen were unsuccessful.

I wish to recommend Mr. Arundale Thomas as the replacement for Angello, especially for the Tuesday and Sunday shows. As far as I am concerned, over the last months he has improved and is as good as Angello. I hope if he is offered the job, he does not refuse it because he was a friend of Angello and he was the one who introduced him to the shows and Q95. He deserves the job, keep in mind, it was Angello who quit because of a pay dispute, he was not fired. Good luck ,Mr. Thomas, hopefully we will hear you soon, much better than before.
If Arundel takes over the shows, he really needs to get down to business and not spend 15 minutes saying hello to everyone he knows. I found that rather annoying. We tune in to hear about headlines or politics, not greetings to fans all over the island.
Additionally, I find it unprofessional for a radio station not to inform it’s listeners when there is a change in regular programing.

Well boy look a bad blow for Dominica and UWP. No wonder I have not heard the voice of Mr. Linton since last week. I actullay sat down to listen to my Week in review. Despite being wholly convinced Allen is an idiot after my return to the homeland in 92( only to leave again), In 1995i called in when he read the news making pronounciation bloopers daily pronounciation I thought was a result of poor education then and even today( He did improve a great deal in 20 yrs plus. However he lacks the fundamentals in addition to being uncouth..He always wants to be cook captain and bottle washer ,not a good listener. He was not hypocritical, and he was quite knowledgeable about Dominca’s history. He was lively, fluent and just great to listen to. I MISS YOU ANGELO ALLEN.

The only fact I know he is being sued for is an alleged claim by Francine Baron that he slandered her about the $10,000 she received a for a charity in London, the Dominica National Development and Disaster Fund. I never hear him say she misappropriated that and when I checked that charity on line today on the Charities Commission website they are still showing that these people did not file their returns for the financial year ending 31 March 2016. I am sure the authorities in England must be investigating their activities because something is not kosher.
