Thanks Texas. Let’s join forces and pray together with the Holy Ghost as our witness for as the Bible states, “A three strand cord cannot easily be broken”. Relief supplies is just a Temporary Bandage. Repentance and obedience to God is permanent and will put a blood line around the Island for the protection of all.

Put your houses on the sea. Bible say there will be no hiding place. People used to call the born again Christians all sorts of name – But we are not fearful of these events; For our God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of love, of power, and of a sound mind. It may be morning, night, or noon; but He is coming soon. Read the Bible instead of the SUNDAY MISSAL. Live in love and harmony with each other; because we are just passing through.

What are earthquakes? The slow distortion of rock masses by tectonic stress causes a build-up of potential energy in the rock much as in a compressed or extended spring. When the deformation, or strain, surpasses the elastic limit of the rock, it ruptures suddenly or slip along preexisting faults, releasing the stored energy in the form of seismic shock waves that speed outward from the point of rupture.

Several types of shock waves are involved, including rapidly moving body waves of varying character that pass through the mass of the earth, and slower surface waves that follow the earth’s outer skin. The surface waves create the ground motion we call an earthquake; the point below the earth’s surface at which the energy is released is the earthquake focus, or hypocenter. The point on the earth’s surface directly above the focus is the earthquake epicenter.

It is at the epicenter that shock waves are most strongly felt. The type of ground motion produced, and the damage…

It is at the epicenter that shock waves are most strongly felt. The type of ground motion produced, and the damage occurring during an earthquake vary according to the depth of the focus, distance from the epicenter, and nature of the local geologic material. In a small tremor, the sensation produced ranges from gentle horizontal shaking to one or more sharp jolts. Near the epicenter of a large earthquake, one has the feeling of being in a rough sea in a small boat, with the ground visible rising, and falling in moving crests and troughs similar to the ocean waves.

In general the shaking lasts no more than a few minutes; however, smaller aftershock, sometimes numbering in the hundreds, may continue over a long period of time from days to months, indicating continuing subsurface rock displacement.

There is no such thing as earthquake season except perhaps in Dominica oui!

      Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!

Guy shut you damn stupid mouth; you dunce: earthquakes floods, hurricane, are natural phenomena’s, if God want he can destroy the world at anytime he wish. It is not in God plans to use earthquakes floods, hurricane, and volcano’s to frighten and kill people; that is what false religion teach, brainwashing people to keep them in subjection and poverty in Dominica.

Your stupidity influence your mind that way. If you wish to know the plans God has for humanity, get a King James version of the Bible, and study his words, that might prevent you from talking such crap!

” Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15 ).

If you know the truth, when you here the illiterate people telling fallacies that is not in God word, you will know it! I have studied the Bible, and though I do not understand it completely, I learnt enough to know that you are talk crap okay!

Why is that Dominicans’ like to talk so much nonsense? Again I can go into the science of such matters, but what’s the use?

In California tremors (earthquakes) occurs every single day of the year, some are so slight though they are measured on the rector scale we do not even feel them. The Caribbean is located on the “Ring of Fire,” due to volcanic activity. Dominica has the most volcanoes in the world, research it before you say I lie.

Now these volcanoes has been there from creation, and the country is not yet destroyed! I done nothing mere to say except we live on a nature island, we must tolerate what nature produces, or move out, abandon the island. And so must punch Skerrit in his belly oui!

      Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!

Him know it doh going an take long for Dominica to mash-up that is why he have him house in Merika, and him children ban ya, him gat place fu run eh!

I suggest that those of us with smartphones install such an app.

There is no such thing as earthquake season!

Unlike volcanic eruptions, which have restricted geographic distributions earthquakes can occur anywhere. Furthermore, unlike most other environmental hazards, they occur without warning: (so how can one predict an earthquake) never mind to talk about earthquake season?

By their direct and indirect effects, including fires, flooding, landslides, and tidal waves, earthquakes have caused more destruction, and taken more lives than any other single type of natural catastrophe.

I am going out for lunch now; when I return I’ll describe what caused them in detail!

“We are really leaving in the last days!”

I felt like laughing; then it dawned on me that the patios may have hampered you ability to know the deference between “leaving” and living!

If I say I am leaving, that is an indication I am moving from one place to another! I am leaving home going to the grocery store.

If I said my home is in Wesley; that is an indication I am residing in Wesley, therefore I am living in the village of Wesley. There is no such thing as leaving in the last days. However we could be leaving this earth tomorrow or perhaps today!

Father God in Heaven, you are the most High God, and you are awake 24 hours seeing what Dominica has become, and you are not happy with what you see. shake everthing that can be shaken in Dominica, shake the church, shake the Prime Minister, shake the children, shake the adults, shake the ocean, shake the mountains, shake every industry, shake hearts, shake hands, shake mouths, and shake lives, shake everything that moves until everyone on the Island realizes that they have a soul that needs salvation and a Savior that MUST be glorified. Shake the Big White House, shake UWP, shake Labour, shake every river, hill and valley. Shake the churches, shake the pastors, shake the Christians, shake the Christians until sin, hatred, division, divisiveness, jealosusy, anger, deceit, lying tonges, murders, rage, anger, rape, and all the things that you detest is eradicated from Dominica. SHAKE THE PEOPLE until they fall on their knees, pray and REPENT, in the name of Jesus Our Savior. AMEN

Is this epicentre by any chance anywhere near the Laudat area? I am just a bit concerned here that this, though it may not be as a result of the drilling related to the geothermal project, may very well have very serious consequences due to the fact that the drilling has already been done in this area. Let us just hope that this does not happen too many times in this area because the holes drilled could cause weakness in the land and the cracks could open up causing slippage or full blown slides. Is it simply coincidence or could it be a consequence of work done? Hmmmm…..our country really needs prayers and intervention

  15. The Real Facts
    November 3, 2015

Recently many earthquakes occurred in Dominica or off Dominica. Who knows what lurks beyond?
Fellow Dominicans, love one another and pray to God for protection with a humble and contrite heart.

And on a more practical note, if you live in an area that could be affected by volcanic activity, create your evacuation plan and consider putting together a ‘grab bag’ that contains your passport and other important documentation along with some basic food items such as breakfast bars and a change of clothes in case you need to leave in a hurry… We are each responsible for ourselves and cannot rely on the most high to save each and every one of us. Sitting down to pray in a time of emergency, as opposed to taking responsible action could actually prove to be fatal.
