These quakes, if felt could be scary.
I recall, a few years one warm summer’s day in Toronto, on a Saturday morning, at that time I was fast asleep. I opened my eyes and felt my stomach going up and down – moving. This is what probably woke me up. I wondered what was going on.
When I was able to get out from the bed I began looking under the bed. It was as if I thought someone was under my bed and shaking it – evil spirit (?) . Later I found out there was an earthquake.
The earthquake originated from Quebec. There was some damage elsewhere. I heard, a bridge collapsed.
A few years ago in summer, June, I was in the kitchen, standing in front of the kitchen sink. I had just finished making a salad. My body may have been swaying. I observed the wall in front of me and the sink were moving. I turned behind and noticed the fridge and stove swaying. I related this in a previous writing. I was scared. This earthquake was a 5.0. God help us!

I knew I felt my bed swooning as if the entire house was rolling around in liquid. It did not rattle but it rolled and it lasted for more than a few seconds too. This is the second one I felt for the season so far. The first was not not as strong.
