An 82-year-old man of Scotts Head is the new Lotto jackpot winner.
Lennard Caprice, a father of eight, won $59,000 after purchasing a ticket at the main office in Roseau.
Caprice told Dominica News Online this morning that the money could not have come at a better time.
“I am currently in the process of refurbishing my home and I just spent over $10,000 doing that,” he said
Caprice admits to spending $50 every week on lottery tickets.
“I always tell myself, if you don’t play you can’t win,” he said.
Caprice is retired after living and working in England for 39 years.
