DNO, sorry I cannot sing your praises. I wish that you allow healthy debates and not allow those sick and disturbing hate comments to be read by the world. This would mean a new policy from DNO and would result in a more friendly and tolerant culture for all. Too much of slackness is allowed to filter through and so for that I cant sing your praises get it right in 2014. In all fairness I will give you a pass mark 65%. HAPPY NEW YEAR DNO F

Is this the type of New Year greeting you give to your fellow nationals? Proud as a peacock are you? What makes you think that your comments are not idiotic? You are too presumptuous on your high and mighty seat and insulting your fellow people at that. People as you will be brought down to naught someday. Your words will condemn you.

Apache you are a good one to talk. All capitals, no punctuation marks, spelling mistakes, grammatical errors and you accuse others of creating the impression that most of us Dominicans are illiterate? Try another one.

OH you blind bat. do you want to take away our freedom of expression from us? Are you Slkerrit who told the population the they are too free?
If you are not Skerrit, you must be a very corrupt person..

Freedom of speech is enshrined in our constitution and should not be tampered with under any circumstances. We may not always like what we read or hear but if anybody feels offended they have redress for libel and slander under existing laws. We need to hear all opinions, warts and all.

DNO: A Blessed, Happy, Prosperous and Successful New Year 2014 to you and throughout the year.
I got hooked on DNO and cannot resist accessing it, reading the comments and providing mine. Whenever I do not, my schedule will not allow it. However, I do try. Yes! I also inform other D/cans about DNO. :)
Thank you DNO for putting up with me and of course others who comment, those who agree and disagree.
    God bless you!

I find my self being distracted from work since I just need to check every so often on whats going on in DA. I keep wondering what the staff is like there in terms of numbers to get these stories rolling in one after the other.

    Dear DNO :

To me you are thanking your advertisers and those whom you ALLOW to comment

Many of us are not allowed we have been stereotyped or “blacklisted” and only get through by chance, we are never SURE that we will be posted even if we observe all your rules.
The thing is we give up on you – but still keep coming back. Thats just the way it is I guess some are more equal than others HAPPY 2014

One love you lie; I red your thing that DNO allow all the time, if is one thing you can give credit to DNO for is that they allow everybody the opportunity to voice their opinions. And mind you some of those one liners “sucks” the make no sense; they are without substance yet they are released.

Besides you do not expect them to publish comments which they may become legally liable!

I lose plenty of my comments especially when I respond to anything that Antigua born who say he is a doctor; talking about dirty blood; and anything I write about Ambrose George usually vanish into thin air.

There must be a reason why some comments are not posted.

      FFET.

  23. January 2, 2014

Thank you DNO! I wish you and your staff the same. And much, much thanks to you for always accepting my comments.

I look forward to reading the articles on your news board; and I will continue to take pleasure in sharing my views with other bloggers–those who are interested in my opinion.

Happy 2014 to all of you here. This is the time I say: May your days in 2014 be merrier and brighter. How I wish that we could think of each other as “One in the Spirit” But blessings all the year through!

“take that I know you struggle with broken or Wesley splangish I want your heard burn when you are reading this”

Telemaque that this above is another sign of your cowardice; you know that I will not understand, which is the reason you say that way–then you get away with it–you big coward!

Yes indeed! Pass me by as fast as you can; I don’t want to see you either

        Hahahahahahahahahahaha–right back to you!

    January 1, 2014

Thank you DNO.I too, is in support of you being the number one news website in Dominica, despite the fact that a news website allegedly owned by a member of the animal show, always appears to get any news pertaining to the Skeritt Labor Government first. If one compares the many advertisements on your website, their is absolutely no competition. My only criticism is the length of time its takes to moderate my comments.

Thank you and the same to year. Hope the New Year brings fairness. Many are complaining of their comments not being moderated, They fit the reqirements standards and yet they are deleted. Their are biased individuals within the team. Please do some diligent screening in that regard.

Admin: There will always be complaints of one kind or the other and we publish comments even when they are critical of Dominica News Online. We kindly ask for your patience as moderating hundreds of comments can take sometime. Thank you DNO.

And on behalf of all the readers who would agree with me, we wish DNO a Happy and most rewarding New Year.

Thanks for keeping us in touch with our roots.

Thanks for giving us up to date late breaking news.

But most of all ……Thanks for presenting the pulse of Dominica in its purest form – with all the mepuis, and with all the compliments, presented by the readership in either the refined “queen’s English” or the raw dialect that only a Dominican can appreciate.

We look forward to a bright and fulfilling 2014.
