PRESS RELEASE: Jollys Pharmacy Ltd. made a donation to the children’s ward of the Princess Margaret Hospital on Wednesday March 31, 2010.

Kyshma Victor of Jollys commented, “We understand that this is a long upcoming weekend for the kids. School is out and the children should be out enjoying themselves. We understand that being in the hospital during school vacation may not be the happiest time for children.”

The young patients and their visitors are pictured here with a nurse (on the far left)

She continued by saying that we donated games to encourage creativity, toys, chocolate and activity books to help the children have as comfortable a time as possible during this long weekend.

Victor was accompanied by Miss Jollys Pharmacy 2010 Whitney McIntyre and the Easter bunny.

It is a wonderful guesture from Jolly’s, but i am amazed about the easter bunny thing. We are a country that is slowly losing our identity, putting away our tradition and copying all America’s foolishness. America has put God behind them, and that’s why so much is happening to them. How has the mighty fallen. now Easter has become Bunnies, and Easter eggs. Christmas time, one can’t even greet each other with a merry Christmas, it has become happy holidays. Easter is a very important time in the life of a person, cause it is the time Christ died and rose for the sins of humanity, no rabbit wasn’t there. Please people, stop following fashion, put Christ back into Christmas and Easter, Good job Jolly, that is what Easter is about, but get rid of the bunny. oooooooooooo Dominican to the bone

Good gesture Jollys, because of your generousity and your concern for your customers, your business will continue to grow and you will continue to prosper for it is in our giving that we recieve. Altlhough there a few other business that do give back to the communities, I think there are some that needs to take pattern and show some grattitude towards their customers for thier patronage.

It is truly a shame and disgrace on some business owners that only take but never give back not even in generous ventures such as this one by Jollys. I think I should make special mention to the business owners in the portsmouth area, because they never give back to their customers, not even at christmas time you will hear they hav e a promotion , even if is a hamper for at least one lucky customer. The only time business owners in portsmouth has promotion is the grocery stores on expired goods. What a shame and disgrace!! Some times we hear on the radio of businesses in Roseau that are having sale on hardware items and so forth, but we never hear that in portsmouth, it is truly disgraceful but I thank God, whitchurch coming so portsmouth people will have a choice even if is just for groceries.
