The Justin Fadipe Medical Centre, located on Cuba Road in Mero, has received international recognition for excellence in the field of healthcare.

On October 7, 2016, proprietor of the establishment, Basil Fadipe, received the Best Hospital Award from the Europe Business Assembly in Cannes, France during the European Awards Night in the framework of the Excellence in Quality and Management Forum.

The centre was nominated for the award in recognition of its “excellent reputation, safe and effective treatment methods, highly professional medical staff, and modern equipment.”

In an earlier interview with DNO, Fadipe said that gaining international recognition encourages him and his staff to maintain a high standard of operation.

“It means that we need to keep working hard. Somebody is watching all the time, so we need to keep working. International organizations are keeping an eye on us, and that’s encouraging,” he explained. “We need to keep maintaining the standard that is attracting all these international organizations to give us recognition.”

The Justin Fadipe Medical Center, named after the proprietor’s father, is both a Clinical and Academic center, and has been in existence since 2001.

In 2013, the Justin Fadipe Medical Centre was selected by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR) to receive the “Quality Achievement Award” for work done in the local health sector.

Don’t get too excited. Do some research. The EBA isn’t all what u may think it to be.

They constantly target theses developing countries for these fancy ‘awards’. Someone needs to ask Dr. Fadipe how much did the EBA request from him for he to actually receive the award.

It’s almost like someone telling you that you’ve won a competition that u never entered and the prize money is $100 but you only have to pay $40 for admin fees for you to get it.

People really need to do their research on these entities.

Surely you are aware of the barriers Dr. Fadipe had to smash through to achieve the success he has today. Certain ones tried to stop him but they failed. There are people in Dominica who would like nothing better than to embarrass him.

You should take note that fellow M.D.s have congratulated Dr. Fadipe and reputable organizations have sent best wishes.

Many years ago a famous preacher in Toronto was tricked into resigning from his pulpit. He tried to take back his resignation. But unknown to him the small maverick denomination he belonged to had a bylaw that said once a pastor resigned he couldn’t change his mind. The preacher started another church in Toronto and it quickly grew to be Canada’s largest evangelical church at that time. The people he had left behind mocked and criticized. But the pastor Dr. Oswald J. Smith said:

      The dogs may bark,
But the chariot rolls on :!:

And how did the EBA get on the list of paid award grantors?

Do you know who made the decision to have it put there?

How do you know somebody did not pay to have it put there?

Does this automatically discredit every organization that is awarded by the EBA?

Are you aware of the fact that there are people who fought to keep Dr. Fadipe from opening his hospital and they would go to any length to discredit him?

What do you know about either the doctor, his work, or the EBA that you did not get from the internet?
What we both know is that the internet is fed from many sources and some of them quite undependable.
We have heard from former patients, fellow M.D.s, and reputable organizations who testify Dr. Fadipe is going a good work in the best interest of the people.

      Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill
