OMG not another sudden death. What is happening to our people, just dropping dead all over the place. It must be something in the air or food or we are sold to the devil.

Sorry to hear of his passing. It is not unusual that some people die of the flu. If this is what he died of, it obviously affected his immune system. Not everyone’s body can withstand the flu, fever, sneezing and coughing. These can cause chest pains which place a strain on the heart and weaken it.
My sincere sympathy to his family and others whose hearts he touched in happy and jovial moments with also his helpfulness. God be with you as you mourn his loss.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in peace. Amen!

DNO, by your definition every death is sudden. Perhaps you should limit that word from the reports, but that would mean you would not be reporting on deaths which for all intents and purposes were very predictable given the ailment.

Perhaps this is a telling sign of our medical system in Dominica. it is quite possible there may have been underlying problems that went unchecked for a long time even while the person underestimated the severity of their condition.

My point is, these deaths may not be as “sudden” as you make them out to be.

No no no Dominicans! There is no foul play here! It is appointed unto man once to die! Those of God will eventually go to meet him while those of the devil will momentarily join him too. Many people have neglected God and have given way to evil.
The way we live express the sentiment that there is no God! Sin has become the norm and is generally accepted. The demon of drunkenness, Prostitution, deceit, gossip, lust, homosexuality, adultery, fornication, fraud, vanity….. you can tell me off all you want but one day you will wish you had listened. I therefore encourage us to change our lives…. Imagine the panic if God decides to take 300 lives suddenly here! They have are gone but we the living still have a chance. This may be a bell for us people. Who will be next?
Fear who can destroy body, spirit and soul! Life can be better. Our nation can be healed! Fear him!
    Jesus Christ!
By the way, to the family and friends, may God comfort you in time of grief. Pray.

Is there a serial killer on the loose in Dominica? It may appear that the sudden deaths in the last six months may be due to natural causes but substances can be administered to make the deaths appear natural. A thorough investigation is needed to get to the bottom of these deaths and missing people. But does Dominica have the competence to perform the kind of investigations that are required?

This is the trend nowadays. Complaints of flu or chest paid followed by death. Yet to date the health authorities are saying nothing.

That’s not entirely true. The Ministry of Health has been warning us about the flu, it is not something to take lightly. There is a vaccine available at the health centres.
