DNO has received reports of a massive bushfire which is now burning at Tarreau.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time but according to the reports, it has been burning all evening long.
Villagers are said to be keeping a wary eye on the blaze.

When are Dominicans going to wake up??? This is intentional…can’t you see this is similar to the US California fires? Similar fires were set by lasers intentionally and in specific areas of California for depopulation purposes. What makes me sad is when people like me try to speak the truth of what’s going on, people think it’s insane. Folks, this is not natural. This is not something a Dominican did…this fire is from an evil outside source walking among you. Check your enemies flowing into Dominica. They usually don’t look like you. I’m not racist at all, but beware of your enemies coming to help Dominica recover and the ones that are being buddy, buddy (like former President Clinton, etc)…with the PM. Their technology is extremely advanced. They can make it snow in the summer and blame it on climate change.

dude come on every year that place catches fire. the whole place is scrubland tat dries out at this time of year and burns its nothing new. happens every year around this time when the scrub dries out so please stop talk nonsense and learn the countries climatic conditions before you start talking your nonsense
TWO hill top bush fires in a week someone please tell me it’s a coincidence the fire started by God!!
Most of these bush fires are caused by irresponsible people. People should remember that fire is a good servant but a bad master and can cause immeasurable damage to life and property. I’m very much certain that there are laws against setting fires or burning trash without permission from the relevant authorities. The problem is that we do not enforce these laws. Therein lies the problem.
They burn trash, with no regards to life and property , they burn plastic , tires , there are people with asthma and repertory problems , in the States you have to pay a small fee and get a permit to burn rubbish from the fire department and it has to be on a certain day when it is not windy, NO tire no plastic or toxic materials , any one who violate the rules will be fine, we need to adopt that policy.
Do you really want to live that life where you have to get a permit to do every damn thing like burning fires? That is a life with the lack of freedom. Don’t get me wrong, as I do understand what you’re saying as some people in Dominica overdo it based on what they burn and where. However, having to get permits and getting fined for burning is insane. Trust me, I know that life and it sucks. You have to even get a permit to rent your property in the US, a permit to add an additional room on to your own damn house, a ticket if you park an old car in your own driveway, a fine if you plant food in your front yard, a fine if you don’t cut your grass according to “their” schedule, etc…no freedom whatsoever. Is this what you want for Dominica???? This first was not set by a Dominican. This is an outside source fire, similar to laser fires set in California in 2017……250+ fires that burned for weeks.

The fire needs to be contained before the village burns down. People cannot sit idly by and do nothing and then expect the government to save them.

happens every year the scrub dries out and burns it happens all over dca wherever there is scrub its natural when that type of grass burns it regrows very well its part of the natural cycle of that plant ( razor grass) might have been a natural fire or man made but that plant once it dries its only a matter of time before it gores up in flames
Stay safe till the fire receeds . The fire fighters may not be able to deal with it swiftly.
