Monique Cannoville has emerged as the first grand prize winner of the ‘Spell Digicel and Win’ promotion which was launched in November.

She was one of three other lucky Digicel customers who correctly spelled the word ‘D I G I C E L’ to participate in the first big prize draw which was held in the form of a game show. The four semi-finalist first had to dip an envelope in the golden box for the big prize winner to be chosen. Canoville emerged the lucky customer with the envelope making her the finalist to proceed to pull her lucky card.

After two attempts and support from her sister and the crowd, Canoville selected the lucky card with the whooping amount of EC$25,000. The other three semi-finalists, Carleen John of Goodwill, Joy Bardouille of Point Mitchel and Shervon Andre of Goodwill didn’t walk away empty handed and each received a brand new Nokia E5 handset with $300 credit.

“I am so happy to have won so much cash from Digicel and I will be putting my winnings towards my education,” Cannoville said.

Digicel’s Marketing Manager, Nathalie Walsh, said; “Digicel continues to deliver on its promise to give the best value to its customers in Dominica. We are proud to excite customers with our innovative promotions giving them an opportunity to win great prizes throughout the year. Digicel congratulates Ms. Canoville and thank all its customers who have participated in this promotion.”

Meanwhile Digicel is announcing that Joy Bardouille of Pointe Michel and Kathleen John Baptiste of Wallhouse as the semi-finalists to participate in the final ‘Spell Digicel and Win’ big prize draw.

The draw is carded to take place on Friday 10th February outside the Digicentre Store on Great George and Marlborough Street.

Digicel not fair the letters should never be random when you top up $15. Every time you top up $15 you should get a letter to spell the word.

Well congrats. Ti Papa in the US one person can win up to 250 million in a lottery while others get 2.00, 10.00 or zero! it’s just the way the game is. What is noteworthy is that DIGICEL continues to deliver on their promises. They never have a delay in prize ceremony or technical glitch. They could be like the other giant and run it regionally thereby reducing the odds of a Dominican winning. Kudos to the young lady.

No wonder when I’m on island is DIGICEL I dealing.Other company so long you in Dominica since before fish start wearing glasses, you crying everyday, show us what you doing too!
