Dominica News Online promised more features and more articles and we have lived up to our words.
Starting Monday, July 5, we will introduce a feature called Photo of the Day, based on its success on bvinews.com.
Photographers – novice, amateur or professional – in Dominica are asked to submit a photo and caption to [email protected] for consideration for the Photo of the Day feature which will be published daily on dominicanewsonline.com. or news.dm
There is no limit to the number of times one person can make submissions.
Photos depicting the beauty of the Nature Isle, news shots and people are most welcome.
DNO will continue to belt out a number of features over the coming weeks and months to keep our readers entertained and informed about Dominica.
We have already launched several that have been a success. They are:
Nice Guy – every Friday (we try)
Dear Bella – daily
Alive Word – Mondays and Fridays
Health Talk – Wednesdays
Personality of the Week – Fridays
Poetry Corner – open
Business in Focus – open
Obituaries – open
The Party Scene – open
Photo of the Day – daily

ADMIN
Email your poem to [email protected]
thanks DNO for all the improvements on yours site, it is well appreciated.
one question WHY DID YOU DISCONTINUE THE CHAT.????
is it because there was pressure form external forces??????????
We would like to know when will it be returning.
At Admin: What you mean the response was not good? I would like to think that the publicity would be ample return for photographer! Plus… what would keeping the art hidden benefit.
I think it is a Great Initiative!

That’s a different market/culture where people prefer almost full anonymity. They submit photos every day but not too interested in submitting profile of themselves etc. But we will try that credit method with DNO and see how it works.
What do we get for getting photo of the day? It benefit’s your site, what about us the photographers?
Admin
It benefits Dominica, the site and the photographers. It exposes talent and local tourism. Plus it’s a fun for readers to look forward to the next issue and the person behind the photo. On bvinews.com, we asked photogs to include their contact details and a photo of the person behind the camera, but the feedback was not good, so we proceeded with just a photo and caption.
