BINJAI, INDONESIA (BNO NEWS) — A three-headed baby was reportedly born in North Sumatra, Indonesia, this weekend, medical officials told local media on Monday. The baby is not expected to survive for long.
The baby boy was born on Saturday in the Indonesian city of Binjai, which is located in North Sumatra province. Although the infant weighs four kilograms (8.8 pounds), the baby’s health condition is worrying doctors and family members as only one body is holding the three heads.
Dimyana, the doctor in charge of the baby’s care at the intensive care unit of the Kesrem Binjai hospital, told the Antara news agency that the baby is coping with his medical condition and has been willing to drink fluids.
But doctors at the hospital told Antara that he should be transported to Medan where he can receive medical treatment with the use of better and more modern facilities at the Hajj Adam Malik hospital and better his chances of survival.
However, the baby’s father is an unskilled worker at a local shop in Binjai and the family lacks the proper funds to travel to Medan, as they are struggling to pay the hospital bills. The family is hoping a benefactor will step up and help them with the rare medical case.
The cause of the abnormality is possibly caused by neural tube defect, Dimayana explained, which is a relatively common birth defect which can result in different types of abnormalities such as spina bifida and anencephaly, or absence of the brain.
amazing en could you imagine a baby born on dominica with three heads to dominican parents,knowing you all so good,you would act so fast to get rid of that child,but you all will post here on DNO,all kinds of crap,just because you all got the technology to do it,this child is going to suffer,countless operations,you know the horror this parents are going to have to live with in other to give this child a normal life,i am telling you all this child would have been better of taken away from the womb,at an early stage.
Strange happenings. I do feel sorry for the parents. This baby was obviously meant to be a triplet. The government of that country should assist the parents.

well all i can say these are the signs of the times,there have been birth defects from time,the question is if the child was born in a rural area,then chances are that they do not have the proper medical facilities to look at the fetus before the mother gave birth,in that way they would have made a decision,but things happen for reason,maybe a lesson to the mother or to the whole world,turn to the right god,this people in this places worship all kinds of gods,i am just saying,not being judgmental.
I thought God created everyone in his image and likeness. So the other kinds of Gods can also create life?
I think the entire scientific community should pay all the expenditure for this miracle.Will all three brains think in sync? How are the nerves to the brains meshed? How many arteries leave the heart to the heads? This is facinating stuff. The scientific community should pay these parents to study this child/ren. They should be poor no more and should not have to pay one cent.

Oops!! Baby was born on Saturday 10/29/2011. That baby could have been the 7 billionth since both the total and the date are estimates.
so what are you saying,the image of god is a child with three heads then,come on,god does not have three heads,and we all know in some of them places these people worship idols,so that’s what meant by other gods,god is a jealous he does smight in all forms.
You do not know if God has three heads. No one has seen God. What about the Trinity? It might just manifest itself that way!! It scares you thinking of the different possibilities of the image of God. You probably have it fixated in your mind as a caucasian man with blue eyes and straight hair. Who knows?
I believe the doctors want the child to live more than the poor parents just so they could use the child as a lab rat for its entire life. This is a case in which nature should be left to take its course.
exactly my thoughts. no one should judge and say to get rid of the baby or not. but if it lives it will surely be tested on. the people talking the crap about demons are just idiots
who is you to try to play god and say get rid of it…it being a human being regardless of its defects,if u had a child or maybe have one you would have understood the love and bond that will be created in just mere seconds….have a little heart and compassion for those in these type of situation it could happen to any one

Put that to sleep. How can a three-headed monster survive? The body cannot support that. The child will not be able to thrive.
How can you refer to God’s creation as that. It is unfortunate that a child is born this way. But was made in God’s likeness like you and I. We need to be careful what we say because a simple accident or sickness/disease can change us for life.
