A 19-year-old young lady with mental disability who was reported missing in Pond Casse has been found
Riverstar Luke who went missing yesterday was found around 3:00 this afternoon.
Her father Matthew Luke had told Dominica News Online Riverstar went for a walk, as she usually does, around 11:00 am yesterday near the roundabout in Pond Casse. He said she was seen by neighbours going in the direction of the roundabout but she had not returned.
The family is now breathing a sigh of relief now that she has been found. “We would like to thank everyone who helped us with posts or notices, prayers and well wishes,” Matthew told Dominica News Online via email. “Riverstar felt the beam of love directed towards her and was able to find her way to a road were she could be found. This is so very much appreciated.”
hmmm.. only uncircumsized, illeterate, disfunctional and disturbed people woul talk about someone,s child who went missing due to anybody’s fault, and shame on you whoever sister you are , if you knew what kind of person RIVERSTAR LUKE is you would not talk that way… @ if she was a movie star you all would kill for her name.

Some Dominicans are so bloody ignorant- In the time of grief how can we make such comments about the parents and their missing child. What is wrong with a child being disabled or being called Riverstar?
A few years ago when her brother Rainstar built a plane in the heights of Cockrane and got permission to leave school to go to Florida to fly his plane we all rejoiced. It is a shame that this is the way we think of the other side of the family.

The authorities should investigate this one fully. A nineteen year old? her history and family background should tell alot about this. There seem to be more to that story than the eyes can see. Trust me, on that one. I pray for her safe return for everyone sake.

Her mum is the one who said she has a ‘mental disorder’ so she knows best. Hope she is safe and if somebody did give her a ride then I hope they remember where they dropped her off.

you have a very good point. people assume that people with mental disabilities dont like to have fun or dont understand when events are going on when they really do. she probably heard about creole in the park and wanted to have a little fun.Instead of her asking to go she took up on her own to try and get there. Shes such as beautiful girl. I hope she found soon and someone doesnt take advantage of her.
