Life is complicated enough for us to appreciate and utilize whatever help others can give us.
But I wonder where did the symposium speakers receive the knowledge they are now sharing with others?
Did they attend symposiums?
It is possible for you to go to the source of wisdom. Read your Bible! I encourage you to attend an evangelical church where the gospel is preached (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) (Romans 1:16) (John 3:16) is clearly preached, and the pastor teaches the principles of dynamic living from the Word of God.
The Bible says:
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, (and)
for instruction in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)
But the Holy Scriptures were not only intended to give us guidance for this life. They were given to show us the way of salvation so we can receive eternal life!
According to the Bible we are all sinners. Our sins have separated us from God. We cannot save ourselves.
But Christ died for our sins. This means on the cross He bore the punishment w should have borne. I invite you to examine the following scriptures.
Romans 3:23
Roman5:6-8
John 19:30
Ephesians 2:8,9
1 John 5:11,12
John 3:16,17
John 3:36
Yes, the Bible was given so we would have this wonderful plan of salvation. God wants us to KNOW that we are saved! And He wants us to to KNOW that we are saved NOW! This is eternal life! In the Bible God says by His servant the Apostle John:
“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God: that ye may KNOW that ye HAVE eternal life, …” (1 John 5:13)
Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill
Another nonsensical event to fleece money out of naive people.
The practical guidance the symposium delivers will probably be worth the money men pay to attend.
What is the value of personal enrichment in such a troubled world? I don’t think the organizations involved intend to fleece your people. Those who register will likely find it is a good investment.
However, you will be missing more if you overlook the advantage of going to the source and well-spring of wisdom which is God Himself. By reading (studying) the Bible daily, and sitting under the teaching of qualified pastors from week to week you will receive an understanding of life and practical help for everyday problems you never would have imagined possible.
This knowledge will cost you nothing. It is absolutely free from God to all who will give the time to seek after it. The benefit you will receive from it is value that cannot be measured.
See Isaiah 55:1-11
Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill.
