Persons are allowed one vote every 24 hours until September 30, 2013.

The wonder with the most votes will be announced in October 2013.

The winner will be featured in a national broadcast TV segment on a popular syndicated program and receive a massive media relations campaign push from VirtualTourist.com.

The Boiling Lake, one of the wonders of Dominica. A Beautiful Wonder!
I love viewing the picture. I am also proud of it that we have such a lake in Dominica.
If only everyone could visit it but for the distance and scary passage to it. It is worth advertising to the world. I hope it gets the majority of votes. And so I am going to caste my vote. :)

DNO you need to keep this article “UP-FRONT” all the time until the voting ends so we can always have easy access to cast our single daily votes.
If it disappears into the “stale” news i might forget about it AND might not vote again. So try to keep this on the front page somewhere. EASIER TO SEE BY THE MASSES, MORE VOTES CAST, BETTER CHANCE OF WINNING

They should have a special place like the ads to remind everyone to vote once a day or once ever 24 hours lol

This is true. I received an email some weeks ago. I voted once or twice from my home but it must be somewhere way down the ladder of emails which I have to place in folders and some to delete. I had forgotten about it until I saw this article again on DNO.
Yes! DNO should keep it on the front page. Thanks DNO! The Boiling Lake will get many more Votes.

    it cant make it, why?
because some idiots think that a geo-thermal plant gonna save Dominica, they have begun to destroy laudat.
relocating a whole village for the powers that be to steal more money.
lost is the history of the land and people, then again we were sold by our own people once before smh.
it would of been nice to have more tourism and money we the people will see.

I did the hike some years ago. In some places I was terrified and I prayed to God because I thought my last moments had come, but God is good! I conquered my fears and went on. What a marvellous place! I give thanks that I had the strength to make the trip. Dominica is truly beautiful. Praise God!

Some brave Dominicans I know went to the Boiling Lake. I have seen pictures of it and where they have to walk to get there. Not me! As much as I would like to visit there, I would not take that chance. Too scared! Too chicken!
If only the government would try to build passable and safe roads more people would visit there including the tourists. The government could make money from this which is a tourist attraction. Some of us have to settle for viewing the pictures.
