im very impressed by this young lady… She has more than what it takes, Without a doubt This year is yours… Competition tight but no fear is yours
Give this young lady her crown please! She did what I was waiting for contestant #2 to do… she faced the camera confidently to answer her questions. Way to go Ms.Karla Henry! All the best on the night of the show. That goes for the other young ladies you are all beautiful
You are beautiful. People are so keen on hurting for the wrong reasons. You did not get to chose your complexion. God made you beautiul and you have a great personality. What is important is raising kind and confident children. So many people can relate to this kind of bullying which you endured. Continue to be strong. I am very impressed with you and most importantly you are very humble. This will help some of the dark skin girls who think that they are not good enough because of their skin tone. I am a dark skin girl so I can relate. There is beauty in everyone regardless of skin color. I am happy you did not limit yourself.
Very impressed with this young woman. Loved the reference to going up river and picking mangoes. So glad to know this is still Dominican life. Wish her very well……
Time to engage community and leave all that political crap behind.
Nicely done
Great speech! You have a great future ahead of you. You are well spoken, great attitude, and down to earth. Your story about your personal struggle, I am sure, have impacted many people. Keep up the good work, good luck, and all the best..
Very impressed with Ms. Henry. Great platform too. Best of luck in bringing the crown to Mahaut.
Wow. Setting the bar very high. Can’t wait to see the rest :-)
Well done young lady. You’re keeping it real without the extra airs and attitude! Nicely done indeed.
What an intelligent young lady! I’m not too keen on attending the queen show but you make me want to come. Good luck to you. Dominican ladies have it both: Intelligence and beauty!
Brilliant!
Great Job Darling, You were Brilliant!!!

Miss Karla, I wish you good luck! I’ve never really taken a keen interest in Carnival since 1967, that’s the last time i participated in carnival celebrations. But listening to young lady, you reminded me of my childhood days growing up at home. You are very intelligent and I especially like your platform. I will try to listen to all the other participants before saying more. However, I really like the fact that you mentioned wether you get to be #1 or not even making it to the top, you will still try to help the less fortunate, that in and of itself is victory. Goog luck!
