Vote for lil Kimani as well!

Kimani

Another Dominican parent is calling for Dominicans to vote for their son, Kimani Moutoussamy who is participating on the Gap Casting Call competition online.

Voters can go to gapcastingcall.com and enter ‘373141’ in the search box and “fan vote” for him as often as possible!

Kimani is also on his mom’s Facebook page Anoushah Alie  (Noushie Alie). They are located in Chicago, but are originally from Petite Soufriere.

    @PUNISHMENT: Man cause you living in the hood of NYC and you gwayaing to make a living just as any freaking person in the hood black brown and blem doh put down the lil kid. What is your point?! You don’t even know the kid and his life style. You have no idea if he’s a good, smart or sweet kid. You just want to say something. Education is the key but ignorance is poison and you stink of it Jed. If the kid mother wants her child to do something which is possitive why knock her down. U just another crab trying hold down ur own. This talk about we are nobody cause we from d/a comes from the ones who fail at life. If u feel like u a loser and a nobody that’s u but don’t try bring down people kids in your koshonie. I wish this kid makes it and turns out to be somebody and rep the island. I wonder what you would have to say then

    @punishment….so wat makes u believe that because the child will win a photoshoot…have his photo up….that he will not be receiving proper education…open allu minds and think OUTSIDE THE BOX FOR ONCE….now there u go again….NARROW-MINDED!!!!!…that’s why u will admit Dominicans r nobodies in America…have u forgotten America is labeled as LAND OF OPPORTUNITIES….that’s why most of us live Dominica and come to America…FOR BETTER OPPORTUNITIES…but when ppl like urself downplay and discourage ppl wanting to cross boundaries and fulfill their PERSONAL dreams…u expect us to ever be on the map…yeah…halfway across the globe…ppl don’t knw about Dominica…

    weh weh whe, i vote for more funding for public schools, for better teachers in the classroom, more funding for afterschool programs, not for parents living their mixed up dreams through their children, following lines get get a child to audition, yelling at the child when they can’t get it right, having a 6 year old doing the same actions over and over, i see it everyday, evry morning i go to work, I am all for education, america is not ours, education made me respected in america just want the same for my country men…..

    @PUNISHMENT: I second you on that and no matter how much money one has in Dominica, they are definitely a nobody in America untill and unless they achieve some good academic grades and elevate to the next level. Otherwise Dominicans overseas dying to see your kids in a window, grow up and teach your kids reals values, how to work hard for a dollar, not how to pose for a dollar. That goes for the first one who posted too.

    @punishment…is ppl like u I would just take and throw in a big black hole and just leave allu there…is ppl like allu..srry..BLACK ppl like allu that cause racism to exist still…”WE AS BLACKS HAVE TO DO TWICE AS BETTER ACADEMICALLY THAN OUR WHITE COUNTERPARTS”….”THE WHITE KIDS CAN AFFORD TO FAIL BECAUSE THEY HAVE THEIR PARENTS WEALTH TO BACK THEM UP”….what that have to do with just clicking “VOTE” so the child could have a chance to win a little competition ah?….allu too jalousie and like to stray from the topic…if u were so educated urself u would have understood what DNO’S post was all about…IT’S NOT ABOUT DOMINICAN PARENTS IN AMERICA EDUCATING THEIR KIDS!!!…ur lame input makes no sense whatsoever…so because the parents of that child put him up for something that they’re interested in…they’re not educating their child?…for all u knw that child is an A student and tops his class at school…it’s offensive to post such comments…is narrow-minded ppl like urself that have our little country backward so…cha man…everyone is entitled to their own passions and interests in life…RESPECT THAT!!!…IF U WANT TO VOTE..VOTE…IF U DON’T WANT TO…DON’T!!!…BUT KEEP THE NEGATIVITY AWAY!!!

    @PUNISHMENT

    YOU ARE SO RIGHT. I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE THINKING THAT WAY. THE WAY THINGS ARE IN THE WORLD TODAY, I THINK PARENT NEED TO PLANT MORE IMPORTANT AND POSITIVE VALUES IN THEIR CHILDREN. CHILDREN OF THAT AGE GOING IN FOR THOSE KINDS OF CONTESTS OBVIOUSLY CANNOT DO IT ON THEIR OWN. ADULTS IN THEIR LIVES ARE THE ONES PUSHING THEM INTO THOSE THINGS BECAUSE THEY ARE “SO PRETTY…SO CUTE….” IS THAT WHAT’S IMPORTANT???? BEAUTY IS IN THE HEART. I THINK OUR CHILDREN CAN DO WITHOUT THESE KINDS OF PAGENTS.
    EVEN IF SOME MAY HAVE A DIFFERENT VIEW AND WANT THEIR CHILDREN TO BE A PART OF IT…..WHY ALL THAT PUBLICITY???? IS IT THAT IMPORTANT????
