The picture of the sea is beautiful. All over Dominica the sceneries of the sea and mountains are beautiful.
I visited Vielle Case only once and that is a long time ago. This shows that Dominicans should visit all those areas and swim in the water. I will keep this in mind. Those of us who reside abroad may not have that opportunity when we visit which also depends on the length of our visit.

This is a photo of Calibishe, Woodfordhill and Morne Diablotin in the background. This photo was definitely taken from Vieille Case. The photographer was most likely in the area of the Catholic Church

The elevated flat land that is seen in the back-ground looks good for the building of an international airport.
So who say Dominica does not have flat land!

    • Justice and Truth
      October 14, 2012

Yes! A lot. Over the water. Some place, eh to build an airport. You would sink and swim to get to your destination. I hope you have a good swim suit and that you are an excellent swimmer.
With all that water, maybe we should return to sea planes. I cannot recall hearing or reading that any sank. I probably was not yet born then.

        October 14, 2012

        Vielle Case = Old House

Vielle from French meaning = old (vieille)

Case from Spanish meaning = house (casa)

The only village with both French and Spanish in the name reflecting the past ownership of the country :)
