Wesley Parl Rep ‘shocked’ at passing of Village Council chairman

dno newsParliamentary Representative for the Wesley constituency, Ezekiel Bazil, is expressing shock following the death of Village Council Chairman, Matthew Prince.

Prince, who passed away at his residence on Saturday 27, December, was described as being community oriented and an active Christian.

“Mr. Prince would be involved in almost everything you ask him to be involved in…he was also a family oriented man,” he told Dominica News Online (DNO) during an interview o
n Monday
.

He continued, “This is not the best news for the community…we sympathize with the family and keep them in our prayers and we will continue working with them.”

According to him, Prince was recently involved in the Christmas tree lighting in that community which was organized by the village council. “We shared some good times at this ceremony,” Bazil stated.

Prince has left to mourn his wife, Dawn and two sons.

In March 2012, the couple buried their daughter Shernel Prince who passed away in Trinidad, following heart surgery for a leaking valve.

What sad news just after Christmas. Thank God for giving him the opportunity to spend Christmas with his loved ones. It must be a tremendous shock and extremely distressing for the family and friends. May God give his wife, children, family members and the community the strength and courage to cope with this tragic loss. May he rest in peace. God bless.

The Lord giveth and taketh. There is a time for everything under Heaven.
We never know when and at what age we will be called. Recently I attended a funeral of someone who passed away suddenly at the age of 55. It was a sad, shocking experience for especially the family.
My sympathy to his family. May God comfort you.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in peace. Amen!

DNO allows you to insult readers. You will pay for this one day.
Who are you to make such a statement? You must be keeping company with Satan. Your words depict your evil heart. Your comment came straight out of the jaws of Satan, of Hell. Satan is jealous of those who are on the side of God. By your words I know you are not on the side of God.
People as you love to spoil an article. I would like to elaborate further. However, all I have to inform you is, when you die you will find out that the God I worship is no false God and the god you worship is a false one. Be careful your soul does not end up in Satan’s cauldron of everlasting fire.
If you worship the God I worship, you will know that Our Lord Jesus Christ said: “Love one another.” And St. Paul said: “Nothing defiled will ever enter the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Our Lord also said, “The insults of those who insult others fall on Me.” If I worshiped a false God I would not know what is contained in Holy Scriptures.

“The Lord giveth and taketh.”The So Called Fects).

Indeed in the book of Job we read it as quoted above, but the way in which people used that is contrary to what is written in the Bible, You see unless we study the word in depth, we can do plenty of damage when we do not actually know what we are talking about.

First of all, what happened to Job, was by no coincident, God did not take away anything from Job. I can verify that with scriptures in the book of Job, but to you it might not matter, nevertheless, there was a conversation between God and Satan; where Satan was attacking Job: to make it short allowed Satan to do to job whatever he wish, except taking his life.

Hence, the devil attacked his body, by covering it with sours, and boils. Job still trusted, and believed in God. Remember even Job wife said to Job, why not cures God and die. Job refused to deny God.

By then Satan returned to God, and said you can touch a man’s body: and note this is not a direct quote from the book of Job: he will do nothing, however if you take all of his possessions he will react differently, and God allowed Satan to destroy, kill all of Job children, animals and everything he had in one day. By then Job had friends visiting with him when the news was brought to Job.

The friend of Job lamented ” The Lord gieveth, and the Lord taketh away.” His friend had no idea that God was the one who allow Satan to do the damage to for no other reason than to test his loyalty, and faith in God. He past the test as a result God gave back to him all that he lost and more.

We here very often when someone die even some preachers are quick to say the Lord giveth and the Lord……..

Nothing like that; it is only a misinterpretation and wrong application of the words of Job friend who had no idea why those things was happening to Job. I invite you to read the complete book of Job perhaps you will get to understand it better.

I agree with Dominican. The standard of reporting is low. Is this story about the Parl Rep or the deceased?

Very Sad News indeed. He was just about 55 to 56 years of age and did much to promote the community. From his involvement in Calypso under the sobriquet, Pizarro ( Infact I still hear the sweet refrain of probably his biggest song—-Oh no, oh no Pizarro, I doh want you for my daughter…. which was a major tune on the streets at carnival in the mid to late 70’s; to his involvement in local politics at the council level.

May his soul rest in peace. My sincerest condolences to his family and the community of Wesley on the lost of one of its iconic sons.
