After more than a year of planning and formalising, the Dominica Spinal Support Organisation (DSSO) is today a reality!
For over 10 years many Dominicans have suffered extensively from spine related illnesses that could have been abated had there been at these patients’ disposal adequate education and treatment on spinal related issues.
The idea of forming a group to support patients with spinal problems surfaced when a few of the present members met and decided to formalise a support group that would meet the needs of spinal suffers throughout the island. On December 30th 2009, the first inaugural meeting took place and it was unanimously decided that this non-profit group would be called Dominica Spinal Support Organisation inc. or DSSO for short.
The DSSO’s responsibility is to ensure that its members are provided with the relevant educational materials, to be in touch with relevant specialists utilizing their expertise, and to exchange information, to provide emotional support for members and their families and to seek to raise funds for medical purposes. Dominica Spinal Support Organisation welcomes any donations from corporate businesses or private individuals as it strives to help to source medical assistance which will assist patients for medical attention.
The hierarchy of the DSSO stems in this order:
President- Mr. Lynard Henderson
Treasurer- Ms. Rhelda Richards
Secretary- Ms. Lorraine Bruney
P.R.O- Ms. Shenel Jolly
Dominica Spinal Support Organisation .Inc, is legally registered as a non-profit organization.
Persons wishing to become members of DSSO or seeking further information can contact L. Henderson at Tel: 767-245-2699 or Ms. Relda Richards 767-225-9211 /

Dr. Gary, here they are into orthopedic support, give it your best shot, let me see how educated you are in the field of orthopedics, and the spinal column!
Go to the library and let your professor brief you on the subject. If you do not know the meaning of a simple word as superb because of your lack of comprehension of the English language how on earth you are going to understand words that are not usually found in a regular dictionary?
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!
thank god for these people to come up with such a worthwhile initiative all the best and good luck in this endeavour.
