Nipping obesity at the roots

According to Minister of Health, Hon. Julius Timothy, “the statistic show that 33 percent of men are over weight or obese, and 66 percent of women are over weight or obese, resulting in 70 percent of the health budget being consumed in dealing with treatment of one disease or another”.

In collaboration of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, a Champaign is being launched to nip obesity at the roots, with the introduction of Hula Hooping at all Schools.

It is not surprising that there are so many overweight people in DA. Every second picture on DNO is not a pot of food nuh? Is a gel couchon here, a braff dere, a yampen on the odder side. So instead of people going for a walk, they sitting by a fire, breathing smoke all day and filling dere belly with pig nose and dumbway.

You know how long I trying to warn alyuh?

Mr Timothy, is that nipping obesity at its roots? I disagree.

We must tackle the root of the problem, a change in our diet, we must consume more local juices and foods. The government media must play a role to support local!

A diet revolution is the answer, education! education! education!
