Experts are trying to work out exactly how a US carer has caught Zika after tending to a dying elderly man with the virus.
Until now it was thought that only mosquitoes and sex spread Zika, as well as the risk of mother-to-child transmission in the womb.
The carer, from Utah, did not have any of these known risk factors.
US officials say they are monitoring the situation carefully and carrying out more tests.

where in the US? then again that shouldnt matter, it is summer time and there are mosquitoes all over the US right now from florida to texas to california all the way up to upstate new york seattle. Plus people travel, Americans come to the Caribbean, Caribbean People go to America. Why is this baffling? it is obvious that the lady most likely got bitten by a mosquito if she wasnt having sex. Whats the big deal? put some calamine lotion on, take your cocodomol and paracetamol or diclofenac and go relax. Americans are so emotional and dramatic for the dumbest things. Thats why trump will win their next election.
Perhaps Zika is like the AIDS ‘virus’ which they patented? It is passed on by anything and when you get it, your head shrinks? PAHO where are you when we need your lies!!!
Remove the improbable and you are left with the probable. The mosquito is still in the room, they were sexing or the man bit the woman.
So what is the mystery? Right here you have three possible ways the carer could have been infected.
Is it impossible to believe there is something they haven’t thought of yet?
I do not believe Zika was man made or humanly engineered.
This is a scarey theory. It would make great late night reading. But you don’t have a thread of evidence to support it.
On the other hand most of you don’t believe it contains devilish life that draws energy out of the atmosphere and creates a microscopic “body” around itself. This is suggested by the fact in some cases a virus will mutate. It then appears different under a microscope. It will behave differently. A virus will disappear. Then when they think they have it beaten it reappears and laughs at their science. I don’t have a thread of evidence to support this conclusion either.
I do believe we are dealing with a spiritual force that could be destroyed by prayer in Jesus’ name

Ya’ll genetically modify the mosquito and are confused when it goes beyound your control.
They think they can genetically modify anything even human organs. When you get a scientist working under a government grant or trying to get published in a journal the sky is the limit.
It is scary because one of these days they may “create” something they really cannot control. God is the author of bio life. I believe what we are should be left in His hands. He is our healer. People need to surrender to Him.

Why are they baffled? It could be that the carer was bitten by a mosquito that also bit the elderly man..
It could also be that the carer took reeealllllll goooood(wink wink) care of the old man and got the virus that way.
But you can always trust the USA blow things way out of proportion and tell lies in order to create fear and spread terror.
