Henderson calls on students to be ambassadors for Dominica

Dr. Vince Henderson

Ambassador to the United States and the OAS, His Excellency Dr. Vince Henderson has called on students to be Ambassadors for Dominica.

“Remind yourself you are on a mission and to be successful on your mission. You first get your mind in the right frame, that you are going out to improve your life and the lives of your family and hopefully you will contribute to Dominica’s development,” Henderson told government-assisted university students for the academic year 2019-2020 recently. He added, “You must tell yourself that you represent Dominica at all times.”

Henderson reminded students that every action that they take such as when they graduate with a perfect score, “you make Dominica proud.”

“But when you go and make trouble in the people school, you find yourself in trouble with the law, you bring shame to the country…,” he stated.

He further advised students to go out there and absorb everything that they can, “anything that is good.”

“So when you come back to Dominica you are on a mission to make a contribution to Dominica’s development,” he advised.

Henderson also encouraged students to look out for each other.

“We need to build support especially those who are going to school and there are a number of Dominicans in those schools,” he indicated. “Please stay together, support one another, encourage one another.”

He added, “When you see people falling look out for them…”

The youth have always been ambassadors of Dominica. But the grown ups constantly let them down. As of late there is not much good to promote except our nature flora and fauna. What nature has given us. Dominica is currently in a messy state. Grown ups think they know it all. Disrespect the youth and ignore their voices. then you expect the youth to smile and say yes mam yes sir. Youth are usually only respected and turned to when it is elections time. Because the heads know there is numbers of voters they need, and if they can bobol the youth, they can win. What is there for the young in Dominica? From the ages of pre school to after you leave state college? play grounds? only one in pentcostal church yard and in massacre primary. arcades and play parks? none. Sporting facilities? none, Jobs? none. So really what is there for the youth? Not even a library we have here anymore so the youth can go and read in quiet.

Yes, and this Skerrit has brought shame to our Domininca. Come on Vince, give the youths some space they can`t compete with you. Like parents under ridiculous matters, that is where we target and that includes the obvious Failed immature Skerrit and his rotten corrupt Labour Party condoned by bind loyalty and Vince we hope you are not in this camp. Vince raise the profile, be open and talk of the Bobols within you corrupt Labour Government. So leave the youths. This statement refers to Failed Skerrit and his Worthless incompetent corrupted labour Government. Vince has been part of this Failed political gang and that DLP has been this failure in particular under this failed Skerrit.

Please stop being partial and partisan with scholarships awards. This is what that’s a shame. It is also a shame when there is a severe drought of job opportunities in the country. We the people have absolutely no job security because each manor woman can easily be replaced in this country since there are so many job seekers. Additionally, the wage rate is notoriously low. These are the things that bother us. God bless

You are in no position to tell anyone about being ambassadors, you were in New York and never represented Dominica in any serious manner, then they sent to Washington and again you made a mess of such a simple diplomatic job.
What can you really do my-boy from Back Street in St. Joe?
There are still people in Da that are in the money laundering business in , I’m listening

“You first get your mind in the right frame, that you are going out to improve your life and the lives of your family and hopefully you will contribute to Dominica’s development,”(Vince Henderson).

That is the sentiment of a man who calls himself “Dr.” (doctor). What sort of doctor is this guy?

How many Dominicans left; went to countries and found a better life and return to Dominica to contribute in the development of the country?

It is because our people are in their right frame of mind why they leave for better, and greener pastures.

When we find it, and make comparisons to the horrible life we left behind we do not return!

A few returned and invest, only to be victimized, and our investment and what we build destroyed.

My friend Ron Abraham is a very good example; spent his young life in England returned and build Marpin Television.

Dominicans did not rest until they took it away from him; all because of jealousy!

Sound advice Vince. I am glad that’s the only advice that you gave them. I don’t want them emulating your family values and scruples. Then again they CANNOT emulate what doesn’t exist. You have none. You values are like a straw floating in the ocean with no purpose and destiny. Thanks for your services. You have helped labor rape, kill and bury the Dominican dream.

It really pisses me off when evil men like these feel qualified to preach to our young people about what’s right and wrong. A man who has enriched himself while our people suffer. Whose ambassador are you? Not mine. I am ashamed to be associated with your type. Now you know right from wrong? Have you grown a conscience? The worst of our young people is better than you Vince.

Ambassador to the United States and the OAS, His Excellency Dr. Vince Henderson Must call on Failed incompetent Skerrit to be a decent Ambassador for all of Dominicans. This needed to be said.
Mr. Failed Skerrit, Henderson has more for you, so please read this political Adult Education Message to you. Here you are!
“Remind yourself, Skerrit, that you are on a mission and to be successful on your mission. You first get your mind in the right frame, (no bobol, deceitfulness, Scams, etc) that you are going out there to improve, not your life but the many suffering, impoverish lives of your Dominica poor families and hopefully you will account for our resources and hopefully better contribute to Dominica’s development,” You are not seen as this role model for our youths and suffering Dominicans in poverty.
Henderson told government-assisted university students for the academic year 2019-2020 recently. Skerrit, note“You must tell yourself that you represent Dominica at all times.” no…

These ambassadors suck the financial life out of the country for doing hardly any work of consequence. They get a big, fat, succulent salary for sitting in air-conditioned offices while the average Dominican catching hell. They come around once in a while to make themselves seem relevant. What they do to positively affect the lives of ordinary citizens is invisible because they hardly, if ever, ‘burst a sweat’. The government will be able to improve the earnings of public servants if they cut the fat of these mostly useless ambassadors, reduce the heavily bloated Cabinet and drastically cut back on the wasteful overseas escapades of the gallivanting PM.

“But when you go and make trouble in the people school, you find yourself in trouble with the law, you bring shame to the country…,” he stated

But….I remember Rosie Douglas stance as a student at University in Canada…….that did not bring shame to Dominica neither Rosie Douglas
I am not sure how this gets into the discussion.

Is there a case of Dominican students making trouble in Universities abroad?
Actions that bring shame on Dominica?

how did he slide that statement in there?
