A bit off topic, I am unsure of the age of Mr Hubert Charles however, it’s no secret his better years are behind him(NO offence). Young people are looking outside of Dominica for jobs, of all the people that study in China, Cuba, Morocco etc. You’re telling me there is no one with the skill or ability to learn to be an ambassador apart from this gentleman and can do the job?
Yes he has experience but Ivanka Trump is 37 and i’m pretty sure she’s an ambassador to the UN or Israel.

I mean, do you’ll mind if a few young people get a job with all those nice perks and entertainment allowance? at that age, (im guessing 70) I want to be playing with my grand children eh.

These are the things we need to talk about but if you say something like this, “Oh you hate the pm”.
Meanwhile, there are 500 junior clerks in government that cannot move up and get a decent salary because the person above them cannot move up either.

Mr. Charles it is a shame that you CONTINUE to sell your soul to get position from this DLP at your age.

Here we have another Sambo …..It seem that after all these years you are still feeling inadequate as a human being and you are looking to be liked/accepted.

    Sorry for you my brother!!!!!.

Given his international diplomatic record, especially with the U.N. and Africa has mr. Charles told mr. Skerrit that the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic(Polisario) is recognised by Angola, Mpzambique,, S. Africa, Nigeria, not to mention Etheopia and closer to home by close friends such as Cuba, Venezuela, Panama and even Guyana? I think not. Guess a cushy posting to the Emirates worth more than lofty principles?

To be honest, I have never been convinced or hooked on this man in the position(s) that he holds. To be honest as a professional working within the government system (Not the labour government) I have not seen or convinced that Hubert Charles warrants this position. He jut does not come out as a person in this position. I never understood what he says, what he talks about, is it a lecture, a friendly discussion that appears t be all over the place. Compared to some other civil servants who are pronounced, outward, engaging and pontificate their respective roles well enough that we understand, we have been able to understand what he is doing, what he has done and what h e will be doing. He comes across like someone who just happens to be there. Domininca needs a big clean up at all levels, because I understand that we have others at the UN, OAS and other prestigious international organisations that we know not what they do and what we have received in return from these institutions.

“viewsexpressed” please learn to be more articulate. You state that you are a ‘professional’ “working within the government system” yet this is how you express yourself? Wow! Perhaps you should stop following the example of that ‘highly educated’ telemakac fellow. Just some constructive advice.

More sales of passports. I hope the appointment does not also include voter facilitation.

It is not sale of passport, it is to bring GCC investment and capital to DMA , you have to be honest when you write in social media .

Oh my God, next thing these new citizens, who never even been to our country will go and cast their vote at our embassy in that country. That is Skerrit’s plan to stay in power, trust me.
