The Dominica Bar Association congratulates Mrs. Wynante Adrien-Roberts on her appointment as a High Court Judge of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court.

Mrs. Adrien-Roberts, the immediate Past President of the Dominica Bar Association and Second Vice President of the OECS Bar Association began her legal career when she was called to the Bar in 1994. She is an Honours graduate of the University of the West Indies and attained professional legal qualifications at the Norman Manley Law School where she was awarded the coveted award of Most Outstanding Second Year Student.

Thereafter, Mrs. Adrien-Roberts pursued a course of study leading to a Master of Laws Degree in International Comparative Law with a concentration in International Trade Law at the prestigious George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC.

Her legal career is marked by outstanding public service. She served at the Public Bar with distinction in a number of areas including Registrar, Magistrate, Manager and Legal Officer of the International Business Unit, Director of Public Prosecution and Solicitor General.

Upon demitting her office as Solicitor General in 2012 Mrs. Adrien-Roberts opened Pinnacle Law Chambers, her private law practice. Early this year 2015, still attracted to public service, Mrs. Adrien-Roberts assumed the office of Deputy Attorney General of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Mrs. Adrien-Roberts’ acceptance of this appointment demonstrates her continued commitment to public service. She has been assigned to the island of Grenada effective September 1, 2015.

The Dominica Bar Association wishes her well in this esteemed position and prays that God’s wisdom, guidance and protection will be with her always.
