    She was indeed a centenarian. God blessed her with long life. He preserved her as He prepared the mansion for her.
    To her family and others who knew her, you will mourn her passing but with your faith in God, you know that this was the time for her to meet her Maker, to be called to her eternal home and to receive her reward.
    My heartfelt sympathy to you. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen! ‘Til we meet at the feet of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

    According to God’s own words at Genesis 6:3, He said: “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh, yet his days shall be 120 years”.

    God spoke those words before He sent a flood that destroyed every human being who existed at that time–except for the man, Noah and his wife; his three sons and their wives–for God had found favor with Noah. And Noah lived 600 years before the flood and 350 years after the flood–that is 950 years altogether. Genesis 9:28-29

    And so I believe that those who live for at least 70 years–according to Moses who also wrote in the Psalms that man shall live up to three score and ten years even more than that, have found favour with God in this world.

    It is another death of a senior in Giraudel, but regardless of the reasons they have died, I am sure that God found favour with them to the last day of their Life in this world.

    My dear Lala, I knew you very well; I even thought that you were older than that, according to what you grandson told me 4 years ago.

    I know that you have gone to your grave with the peace of God, and He will raise from the dead–by the same power that quickened the dead body of His Son, Jesus, to live again.

    I believe that you are chosen to live with God Almighty in Paradise–your resurrection will be that of Jesus Christ, He who conquered death on your behalf and mine as well.

    And there in Paradise, we will know no more sorrows, which are of the disgust, disdain, the self conceit and discontentment of man in this world. There will be no more sickness and no more crying; for there will be no more death.

    Rest in peace my lady–for you lived a Life as God give it to you; I know that is true.

    MAY THIS BEAUTIFUL LADY REST IN PEACE, I WONDER WHAT WAS A SECRET TO SUCH A LONG LIFE!!!

    • November 5, 2012

      @LIMINGLUCY

      It is very simple! Lala was a God fearing person, just as most of us from Giraudel are. The Life of Love, which is of God, is what we know and live; I have no doubt about that.

      My grandmother was 98 years old when she died; all of her children–in Dominica– are still alive. My mother is the number 5 or 6 among her children–she is now 79 years old.

      Her eldest brother, who is the first child of my grandmother, even looked younger than my mother the last time I saw him–an yet he has to be at least 6 years older than my mother.

      So surrendering our lives to Jesus does not cause us to take anything away from the way of Life–infact this choice is the way we choose Life; the Life that is of Eternity; our basic energy, or the “food” of Life, is the Spiritual substances better known as Joy and Peace, which take control from conscience to the mind.

      We cannot become unhealthy and to pass away in this world, from eating that kind of food. Our days simply come to its end as God has planned those days for us.

        @ Lizavier4Jesus

        Oh so if you’re not a protestant you die young? really? woman in the 21st century the amount of nonesense you repeatedly post and misquote is an abomination and exposes your ignorance. How do you account for the still born births, accidents, God fearing men and women who are vegans that die in 40s, 50, 60 or even teens? You need to put the bible down for a second, give up your self imposed righteous stance and take a dose of reality. Genetics, lifestyle including diet accounts for much more of this than any religous belief. Being God fearing accounts for ones beliefs and personal faith believe it or not that is ALL otherwise all so called God Fearing people would live to 999 plus

        By the way I am a 7th day adventist! but you I’m just fed up of reading your rantings attributing everything to religion and bible get a grip

        R.I.P LaLa….

        @ Get Real I agree with you 100%…I know who she is and she speaks ignorance all over the web.

      • November 6, 2012

        @Princess

        You may think that you know who I am, but you are simply fooling yourself–I can promise you that.

        You are too young to understand what I speak, much more to judge my wisdom. But you are not too young for the spirit of Satan to possess you, which he has already–I know it from the writings of your on facebook–that is to tell you that I know who you are as well. :lol: :lol: :lol:

        And so, I just feel sorry for you! I really really do!

        A life well lived and in the Lord. One everyone should emulate, that their days may be long on this earth as they wait on the Lord, then to receive her eternal reward, the prize, the crown from no other but God on that inevitable day when He calls them. She is at peace with the Lord.

    Gentle rest Lala u live a life that was full

  23. November 5, 2012

    Lala lived a long life. Yesterday Dominicans ate well; healthy foods, home grown fowls (chicken) and the works. Today all gardens are abandoned and the people are eating macaroni and cheese, KFC, etc. I don’t know Lala nor her family, but I would like to say ‘accept my sympathy’ cherish her memories. R.I.P. Lala.

    • November 5, 2012

      @JRoyer-Stevens

      You have spoken my sentiment–just that I spoke the spiritual form. You are so right; pertaining to our way of existing today, compared to the way of Life among us in the days gone by. I know Lala because I am from Giraudel

      But I am not that old, for I could be her grand daughter–even her great grand. That is why I can say that it was just yesterday that our people lived an almost perfect Life–eating the right foods, and exercising, even naturally such as using the skipping rope or playing a game of rounders in our yard.

      Today the sudden rise in technology has changed us into a people whom we do not want to be–the problem is that we won’t take heed of the warning signs, that the enemy is going out of his way to steal, kill, and destroy our lives, because he knows that his time is getting shorter and shorter.

      And so, I pray, help us dear God; for You know our ignorance. Amen!

      As the saying, “You tell me.” :) Consider that she ate Dominican home-grown foods and no doubt fresh fish and lived to a ripe old age. How did she do it? God knows and she knows. She surely had the answer.
      Live well, lovingly, happily and peacefully with one another.
      Eat and drink well, not in excess. Drinking, I mean ample water and fruit juices, all what is healthy for us.
