A new man is now at the helm of the Dominica Cooperatives Societies League Ltd (DCSLL).
The new president is Murphy Wallace.
The League, as it is called, held its 58th Annual General meeting at the Garraway Hotel after which officers were elected to serve on the board and also the credit and supervisory committees.
Carlisle Jno Baptiste, a stalwart in the movement for a number of years, is now the vice president.
The post of secretary remains with Josianna Antoine and Francis Paul remains treasurer.
The other board members are Rhona Tyson, Nicholas George and Candia Carette George.
Dexter Ducreay, who served on the board for the past six years, retired as mandated by the Cooperatives Societies Act and so was not eligible for reelection. He was also president of the league. He was replaced on the board by newcomer, Alganan Degallaire.
Congratulations Bee Murph!
