Dr. T. Margaret Wallace, Ph.D., LPC, a Dominican-born Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia, has been selected to be included on the prestigious “The Trademark Who’s Who of Top Doctors Edition” in the US.

She was selected for showing leadership, dedication, and professional excellence, a release from the organizations says.

“There is humility and a personal touch she adds to her relationship with everyone she does business with. Even more than the value of her service, it’s her way of treating everyone like an extended member of her own family that people remember the most. As a talented and disciplined professional, she has maintained a proven track record of quality service, driven by her desire to succeed,” the release noted.

It added, “During the vetting process, it was noted along with her exceptional reputation that she has also maintained a positive peer rating. Her years of service along with her level of expertise and several other factors also contributed to her inclusion. She prides herself on honesty and integrity and is the kind of professional admired by colleagues and peers alike. Her kindness and willingness to always help others and find solutions to most questions is both exemplary and honorable. She has made her mark on her profession as an expert and will become part of history as one of the top professionals in her field.”

Originally from Cottage, Dr. Wallace is the Founder and CEO of Community Counseling Solutions, a community-based mental health agency in East Point, Georgia. She created this agency in 2004 and has since worked with families, local, and state organizations to provide mental health services primarily to economically disadvantaged children, adolescents, and their families.

She is the founder of Sage Psychology Consulting in Atlanta which is a psychology practice focusing on psychological evaluations, hypnotherapy, supervision, consultation, and training. She is also a co-founder of Gathering Precious Stones, which is a psychotherapy private practice in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Wallace is a long time student of meditation and is certified as an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist.

She has practiced hypnotherapy since 1999 and utilizes primarily a mindfulness-based approach to clinical treatment. She regularly teaches about the clinical applications of hypnotherapy and mindfulness-based therapies. Dr. Wallace is a researcher with published works including a doctoral dissertation on the association among problem-solving appraisal, hopelessness and suicide among African American women.

She also co-authored peer-reviewed articles on the relation between alcohol use and intimate partner violence, and the utilization of routine health screenings in the diagnosis of depression among adolescent males.

After being diagnosed with an early stage cancer in 2011, Dr. Wallace’s personal use of meditation and mindfulness-based principles to manage her diagnosis, treatment and recovery, led her to develop the Mindful Recovery Program.

The program offers an integrative psycho-neuro-immunology perspective utilizing evidence-based concepts found in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), hypnotherapy, and mindfulness to attain and maintain optimal health and wellness.

Dr. Wallace is known as an empathetic practitioner and an engaging presenter whose trainings regularly receive rave reviews from participants.

Is it right after people such as Dr. T. Margaret Wallace worked so had for her qualification and to achieve what she deserve and for some one who never sat in a class room to be called by that name? the people who are using that name and those who are encouraging it should be a shamed of them selves!

It sounds like you never sat in a classroom yourself and you should take care of that. The time you waste here lamenting about an honorary doctorate should be spend in school. This is Triphi’s glory, congratulate and move on! Go vent your grudge of an honorary doctorate elsewhere stupes man with you silly people.

First let me state that I am really impressed by her “real” notable and impressive achievements but very disappointed that we are making a bigger deal about her inclusion in a directory.

It is a scam because it is being positioned as a “prestigious directory of top doctors” when it is not. This is about selling hard cover directories and is not endorsed by any professional organization. I have been contacted several times by these companies and it is laughable that this is making news on DNO.
There was an article written by the Hoffington post a few years back on this topic – you should check it out. Also, look at the who’s who website ” about ” page.
