Hello and good morning my people. First I want to say may this young man rest in peace and condolence to his family and friends. Well I was recently in St Thomas and nothing good happens on Bookman Road which is a strip full of Bars which sells alcohol and frequented by prostitutes. The question is why this criminal commit this act which continues to give our people bad name in the VI but most importantly how did he escape to Dominica and who assisted him. I hope when his captured any one who assisted him is deported.

    • April 2, 2016

I may understand how you feel about the bars but everyone have what they like I have been hanging there for years and nothing bad have never really happened while I been around except everyone enjoying there weekend we all are friends, bad things can happen right at your door step and this young men hangout there and I have never seen them in trouble, its truly sad what happens, the most we can do is pray that our young mens put away the guys and handle there problems like men . because this was no supposed to happen at all .

Hans Hantoy Rastar Oliver, is just a name but the person who carried that name was a blessing to his parents, a father to a daughter, a brother, a nephew, a friend to many. To the gun man i am sure you are loved by many also, i knew Hans we grew up in the same yard a sweetheart! Brother i know it’s not easy for someone to come forward or turn themselves over to the authorities but am telling you my brother that in spite of whatever other advice you may have gotten, would be the best and most honorable thing to do.

Grand Bay people are always quick to stand and defend…they did not read the article prior to the correction but ready to fight! For What? What you all need to do is track down the who shot the damn boy… He is from GrandBay…He wanted to play macho and want to be a badman, but he’s gonna run and hide. Show your face!

Word on the street is that the gunman is from Grandbay and he is already back in Grandbay; that is why DNO created the mix up.

The Police could investigate who arrived in Dominica from St. Thomas or via St. Thomas and resides in Grand Bay.

Parents talk to your children..i have no idea whether this young man was in the wrong place at the wrong time or whether he lived a wild life ,but this is not a good way for our children to die,one is too many.We as parents cannot be behind our kids at all times but if we talk to them before they end up in the wrong position in life at list we will remember that we have tried our best to educate them..No parent is expecting to bury their kids especially if they are shot dead by another man for defending himself or because our children chose the evil way in life..Courage to his parents because life has to go on ,but for both parents it will never be like before..

Where he was shot was outside a club here on St. Thomas, been hearing it was because of a woman. Hans was not a bad person or in the wrong crowd, He was a victim of a stupid minded person who could not control his temper… real talk .. a boy now adays would prefer to pull a gun then to use his fists.

I know it sounds rather clicheish when people say how good someone is after they have passed, however I have known this man personally and he was one of the safest people you could ever meet. From the way he dealt with people, he didn’t look like he would harm a fly.
