Loss, Grief and Bereavement Support Group!
As I read the above comments, I am obliged to appeal to all concerned that we need to encourage establishing Bereavement Support Groups in all our Communities.
This is a very difficult moment for the Family and Friends Emanuela Marsha Stephen, and as one can see many are touched by this Death and the impact of Emanuela’s death will be with us for a long time.
As a person who has presided over 30 to 40 funerals annually for the past 30 years as a Catholic Priest, I have come to realize through research in “Grief Counselling” that we need to put in place organizations or groups to better journey with the grieving among us.

I have been thinking, what caused her death? I hope it will not be long that we will be informed.
She was such a promising young lady, soon to be graduated as a doctor. What happened?
My heart goes out to her family who are in grief. I consider they were eagerly awaiting her graduation as a doctor. How proud they would be of her; already proud that she was a medical student. God be with you in your grief.
I expect the D/can government will be involved and conduct an inquiry into what occurred to her which caused her death.

You could have added, young, younger, old or older. They die at all ages.
It is a mystery why some die so young, even as babies. They did not have time to live as old as some others.
Consider some are sick even at an early age. Some people will ask why.
God has the answer. One day, when we will be walking by sight, the reason will be revealed to us. All our questions of all will be answered.

How sad to read of her passing. It leaves me to wonder what occurred to cause her death. Did she drink or eat something, an unknown substance? Did she feel ill previously? Was she ever sick.
Her passing occurred abroad. Her family and other nationals will obviously want to know what caused it. I hope the autopsy will reveal the cause and it will be a truthful one. I also hope her parents will request one.
My heartfelt sympathy to her family, friends, co-students and all those who were closely affiliated with her. God is with all of you, comforting and strengthening you in your grief. Your grief is also His grief. He bears it. Take heart.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul rest in peace. Amen.

Some may be in error but others are deliberate. They know the name which is used on this Website and they dislike or hate that name and what is written. Furthermore they are aware which political Party they support. Therefore, they give the comments thumbs down. This does mean the person did not comment sensibly. It is due to the warped and wicked minds of some people who lack love and compassion of all. They may also not have anything worthwhile to contribute to the article. God knows who they are.

when i see such a young lady just pass away, suddenly,i always ask my self why should some of us be so conceited and think we more than others.we walk on people like we will never die,we never know when is our turn,no we never know.

The same applies to those who are unkind in words on this Website
Last week I attended two funerals. It was a difficult -sorrowful week One was very young; the other was older. Consider the grief of their relatives.
Recently, I heard of many natural deaths in Dominica. This is a pattern as we grow older. Some people never think that who knows when they will die. Thinking of this, they should be ever so kind.
Consider if they die with such an attitude. I leave it up to your imagination for, in addition to our parents’ discipline, Holy Scripture teaches us how to act toward others. They should know whatever the harm/hurt they inflict on others be it in words, they inflict it on God. They will pay the price.

  22. April 21, 2015

Deepest sympathy to the family. I can imagine what you are going through. May the Good Lord strengthen you. Such a beautiful girl.

  23. April 21, 2015

How very sad for her family and friends and the other students out there in Cuba. How hard it must be for them. A young brilliant career cut short before even starting. .

The only thing we know for certain in this life is; once we are born we must die. Here today, gone tomorrow. We just do not know the day, the hour and the minute only our Heavenly Father knows; that mean we must always be ready to meet our Maker. Sudden deaths more than any other should always remind us of our borrowed time on earth.

Deepest Sympathy to the family. May her soul rest in peace.
