Mayil Nicholls Foundation assists in Dominica relief efforts

A check of $5,006.41 was presented to the Antigua & Barbuda Red Cross last Friday which will be forwarded to the Dominica Red Cross to assist in the relief effort following the ravages of Tropical Storm Erika.

The money was raised by founder of the Mayil Nicholls Foundaton, Antigua-based Nevil Nicholls, at an event, RUN/WALK for DOMINICA held on 13th September, 2015 in Antigua.

The event was held in collaboration with Brian Desilvia, owner of Kangaroo Express and Paradise Events & Rentals based in Antigua and the Antigua Red Cross

Approximately 300 persons from all walks of life turned out to support the event.

The Mayil Nicholls Foundation is based in the Kalinago Territory.

Organizers thank everyone who participated and supported the fund raising activity.

    big up my brother, but next time as we said work direct with the people, the public can say what they want but i am not in support of working with the red cross or any other middle organization. how much of this money will actually make it to the people who actually needs it? let Haiti be out reminder, But keep up the good work my fellow kalinago brother.
