Milky stains prompt management to suspend employee

Beff News has been informed that a young man was suspended from his job because of suspicious milky stains on his chair.

The man, a well-groomed intellectual from Possie, was warned several times about keeping his surroundings clean, but that apparently fell on deaf ears, with the last straw being the milky white stains, Beff News understands.

  6. A slow regression
    January 28, 2010

I cannot believe that in this day and age, workers rights within OUR fair island can reflect such an intolerable regression. We are talking about someone’s livelihood through means of their employment. And, I am made to believe that an educated senior manager has allowed the suspension of this individual, in the belief that an unidentified stain may be of a sexual origin. An individual’s income should not be gambled on, where there are no facts. The human male expells approximately 3-5 cc’s of semen”if that’s what we are referring to” at a time. For the laymen reading, that is approximately 1/2 – 1 teaspoonfull. Not nearly enought o saturate a chair cussion. Maybe over a very lengthy period. Altogether, I believe that proof of some form of wrongdoing should be provided if a severe penalty, such as a suspension is required. I can understand continous councilling for neatness being acting upon, but there seems to be no documentable connection between the incidents.
