THEY SHOULD EXPOSE THIS RESTAURANT AND PEOPLE SHOULD BOYCUT THIER SERVICE FOR A WHILE AND THEY WOULD SEE HOW MUCH THEY LOST FOR 2 DRUMSTICKS THAT IS JUST WRONG FOR YOU TO SAY IF SOMEONE WORKS IN YOUR FOOD PLACE THEY CANNOT TAKE A CHICKEN? THEY SHOULD BE ALLOWED 2 MEALS IF THEY WORK IN THE MORN AND ONE IF THEY WORK IN THE NITE.THAT’S HOW IT WAS WHEN I WAS WORKING IN A RESTAURANT HOME.

Please nothing about the employee and policy give me a break!! are employees given a meal at this restaurant?
No taking home food two drumsticks is not a box of food – probably the lady is taking this as this was supposed to be her lunch.

She may have missed her lunch or taking hers to go and two drumsticks is definitely not a meal (if she is allowed a meal at all at work).

I think they should allow employees to have the left over food, I mean left overs even sounds like it should be discarded but in the states there are groups who go around restaurants for unused food to give to homeless people.. I think employees should get free meals considering they get paid next to nothing.

Throw away?! Nah, not in D’ca. Those leftovers are for resale. They warm them up next day and resell.
Although, i disagree with the way they handled the matter, however, employees should comply with company policies. She should have asked instead of violating the Co. policy.

    February 11, 2010

I feel sorry for her. Whoever sold her out is wicked. Now she gonna lose her job over 2 drumsticks. Some of these restaurants prefer to throw away the food than give it to their underpaid employees. What a dang shame.

Instead of firng the employee, this restaurant need to be closed. The employee was just trying to prevent the restaurant from selling over night food to the public. Please give us the name of this place so we can boycut them. Shame.

  21. February 11, 2010

hmm…i suppose that’s why those chicken always have a funny taste? left-overs are just re-cycled day after day. calling security for two drumsticks? Dat restaurant owner wouldn’t see good.
