People go about their business in the city of Roseau on Wednesday, May 6, hopefully mindful, that it is not “business as usual”.  All photos by Cecil Clarke.

Dominicans for the most part have conducted themselves relatively well under these trying circumstances. Kudos also to the frontline and essential workers. However, I CANNOT say the same for the uncaring current government. The people’s patrimony has been sold and only the misleader, his immediate family, his Cabinet Ministers and international crooks and fugitives of the law have greatly benefitted. This is the most appropriate time to spend that money on our people who are going through a living HELL right now. These billions should be used to rescue the living poor from their enormous suffering rather than to build white elephants for the well connected. This has nothing to do with hating Skerrit, it’s about abhorring wrong. Whenever good people see wrong and stay quiet, they are complicit in that wrongdoing.
