(CNN) — Authorities in Maryland are investigating the deaths of about 2 million fish in Chesapeake Bay.
“Natural causes appear to be the reason,” the Maryland Department of the Environment said in a news release. “Cold water stress exacerbated by a large population of the affected species (juvenile spot fish) appears to be the cause of the kill.”
The investigation comes days after the deaths of an estimated 100,000 fish in northwest Arkansas. Authorities suspect disease was to blame there, a state spokesman said.

Cease generalizing. How many people in general are destroying the planet? This type of criticism is for those who own factories, who manufacture vehicles and all what we use for bathing, cooking and cleaning purposes and the likes. What are we going to do without them? The very soap and body creams are manufactured from factories.
Recall that (or are you too young to know that) in the ancient days in Dominica, specifically coals were used to cook and also to iron. Vehicles needed gasolene to operate. Did anyone die from them? Did anyone complain about them?
As for me, I am not concerned about that because I do not pollute the atmosphere except if you refer to the breath which I exhale.
Many of you worry about what you should not worry about. Anyway, if you are in Dominica, a small island with all its fresh air especially in the early mornings and evenings also rivers, streams and lakes, why worry.

My oh my!!! First birds then fish….what next? I think this matter should be investigated deeper. could it be pollutants in the water and the air.SO many factories and some dump their waste in the waters. Could be a chemical reaction or just like some tend to believe. The beginning of the end of time.
Natural causes eh, is that his way of saying Allah/Jah/God killed 2 million fish? America must realise there is much more coming. Birds falling from the sky like rain, 2 million fish dead. Do you think America’s oppression against blacks and muslims will continue forever? Do you think their lies and propaganda will last forever? Allah will take care of America because the muslims are praying ferevently against this place. It took the children of Israel centuries before getting out of slavery, so to Allah may slowly destroy America, bring it to it’s knees.
Many of our Dominican people have been fooled by the media about the muslims and terrorism propaganda, it’s the same thing they did to the slaves who escaped. The slaves were called maroons, the whites would use the bible to prove that the blacks were doing something wrong by running away. The good ole house slave believed his master. History repeats itself yet our people will not see. May Allah guide our Dominican nation to Islam. Islam is not about what’s being protrayed in the media.

Signs of the times. It is a serious matter and one to be concerned about, birds and fishes turning up dead.
Did you hear of the reasons which are given? Some of the birds may have flown into a power line. It may also have been due to celebratory fireworks on New Year’s Eve which caused them to be dizzy that they crashed into homes and cars and each other before plummeting to their deaths.
Those power lines have been there for years. As well, celebratory fireworks take place annually, for years. This leaves me to wonder what really caused their death.
As for the fishes it is stated that it is due to the environment.
I think we could make a comic strip about that and also a movie at their speculations. What has science and those authorities proved? Absolutely nothing!
All I can state is, let us pray.

Earlier this week was dead birds falling form the sky. Now its dead fish in Maryland. A few years ago we had a couple of fish-kills in Freshwater Lake
someone is trying to make us believe that the end will be 2012.
