Santiago, Chile (CNN) — A massive magnitude 8.8 earthquake rocked Chile early Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, killing at least 147 people and triggering tsunami warnings for the entire Pacific basin.
Warning sirens were sounded in Hawaii at 6 a.m., although any possible tsunami would not strike for several hours. Tsunamis can travel at 400 to 500 mph, the speed of a jet plane, said Georgia Tech geology professor Kurt Frankel.
A large wave killed three people and 10 were missing on the island of Juan Fernandez, 400 miles (643 km) off the coast of Chile, said Provincial Governor Ivan De La Maza.
So many earthquakes? all around the world? I have a strong feeling there is more to come. The world is coming to an end. We need to pray and give our lives to christ.

Ever wonder why christians keep saying the world will end soon, and never can give a definite date? And i know people will say not even the angels know the date how could man.. The secret is, if you give a definite date and it doesnt happen on that date then the people are going to be less inclined to keep believing in it. It’s sad to read things like this. I’ve just move to the UK and out of all the “friends” i’ve made NONE believe in God, maybe been to a Church once in they’re life. I’m not a ride or die Christian but i do believe in God, and i do put faith in him.
These Earthquakes are nothing natural, it’s has to have been caused by something. Either from the one above, or as Chavez said…Why China out of all places after Hati, and 8.8 on the scale. waw.

Stop tryna tell ppl to give their lives to christ just because a few natural disasters are happening. Yall christians jump at every opportunity to convert the naive people to follow a brainwashing religion which was used to control slaves from rebelling on the plantations.
Let’s see how the critics of the United States will develop their story of blame – from this NATURAL DSASTER. I the meantime, Christians should be vigilant and prayerful; watch and pray because we are indeed closer today than we were yesterday.
