British pub shuts door before gay “kiss-in” protest

A mass same-sex “kiss-in” has been staged outside a pub in central London where two men said they were ejected on Wednesday for kissing each other.

Hundreds of people gathered at the John Snow pub on Broadwich Street, Soho.

The men in question, James Bull and Jonathan Williams, attended the protest and held hands outside the building.

Thank Allah for Islam. If any son or daughter of mine is a homosexual/lesbian, the issue for me is very simple. If my son/daughter realises this is a sin or a weakness then that’s fine, we will talk about it, seek counselling as a family and work together so that he/she can give up these abnormal feelings.

However, anytime this child proudly supports or rebels against the laws of Allah in full support of this filth, son/daughter it’s time to pack up and leave. We cannot stay under the same roof.

Good principle, but it is the same principle applied by every one with the mentality of Love, in our hearts mind, and soul.

I love my son dearly, and I would approach the very same way. I could not imagine my son living under the same roof with me if he was a homosexual either, just because I love him.

Our people are so ignorAnt! As so many of you are using the bible to criticize the lifestyle of others but also hide behind it because of your own short comings. He who is without sin cast the first stone ! Gays do not try to force their lifestyles upon anyone thus the reason for their organizations . Unlike some of you” heterosexuals” covetting your neighbors wife, adultery , fornication. Get informed and get the facts and examine your ownselves before ” judging others”

Absolutely right!! There are people on here who would look the other way when pedophiles are tying their nastiness but want to condemn consenting adults for doing something which is doing them no harm at all (but having their insecurities challenged). The point about this protest was the same as the Rosa Parks issue on the buses all those years ago. The pub owners were not treating everyone the same. Straight couples could show their affection and not get the same harassment as gays. What do you expect them to do? just take crap from bigots and do nothing about it? Do not mss the point. This is nothing to do with the sin of buggery and everything do do with man’s inhumanity to man .. hatred of people because for their life choices.. choices which do not affect anyone else’s rights and freedoms.

All of these sins are abominable D/ca girl and possie. There should be no support of homosexuality whatsoever. Escaping from the reality about adultery and fornication cannot justify homosexuality, they are all wrong, pure and simple.

If you look carefully you will see that I referred to the homosexual act as a sin. You of all corespondents on here, though, should understand what discrimination is about. Islamophobia is the cause of so much strife right across the globe. What are you going to do about it … just lie down and play dead? Do you expect others who are discriminated against to do the same? Stand up for your rights… is that not what we teach our children?

Gays must know they irritate straights when they kiss in public so presumably they are doing it deliberately to rub the straights’ faces in it. Why should they impose their alternative lifestyle on others.

If there is one thing which disgusts me is to see two men kissing. If it is shown on TV, I will turn off the channel.
CTV Toronto is my favorite morning, Canada AM and evening news channel. CTV is a great promoter of gay rights and so-called gay pride parade, the latter which takes place on a Sunday at that.
I wrote CTV about it and other relevant information which is against the Law of God. Last year, I noted that CTV watered-down its advertisement. However, this is one week-end I will boycott CTV news when this so-called parade takes place. I am waiting to see what will occur in June this year and leading up to same. If CTV promotes it I will write them again. It is my Christian duty to do so.
The previous Toronto Mayor would be center and forefront in this parade and so are some politicians. I did not vote for him in that Municipal election. If I know a politician is pro so-called same sex marriage, I will not vote for him/her. I will inform him accordingly.
I voted for the present Mayor. I feel that he may not endorse this gay pride parade. However, as a Mayor, he is in a precarious position. If he does not participate he will not only be criticized but will be lambasted. He ran against a politician who is gay and He won the mayoralty.
A Jewish Toronto Mayor, since retired is the one, coupled with those gay rights interest groups who rank among some politicians and approved this abomination. Note that this type of parade was not approved to take place on Saturday which is the Jewish Sabbath but on a Sunday, the Christian Sabbath. In their ignorance they do you not think that God is highly offended. They will find out soon enough.
I feel sorry for those people when they stand before God for their eternal judgment, who legislated this abomination, approved it, condoned it and applaud it.
Thousands of people go downtown to view this abomination. Last year (or year before) a man who was viewing it died of a heart attack. I wonder whether God forgave him.
A male Catholic co-worker had informed me that he had gone to the parade. I replied that Catholics are not to participate and not even view this parade. There are those who need to cultivate their faith and ask God for enlightenment. They are sadly lacking in same.
Come on you so-called gay men keep your personal affairs behind your closed doors. Do not take it to the public domain. God did not create you to have this abnormal relationship with another man – of the same gender. You are under the yoke of Satan who has instilled in you that is OK to be gay and that God approves of it and He will forgive you. Know that the enemy of God and of our souls does not want what is best for us, eternal salvation. He wants to bring you down to his abyss of Hell, eternal fire; foolish people who lack God’s blessings, graces and enlightenment.
You are bringing down the wrath of God on this world because of your evil lifestyle and drawing others into this sin of abomination against the Lord. You are also contaminating the minds of the little ones. A punishment awaits you who contaminate the minds of the little ones, the youths.
We who are heterosexual people are within our rights to oppose your sinful ways.
You try to exonerate yourself saying that God loves everybody. Of course, He loves those whom He created. Otherwise he would not be God but he abhors and looks down in disdain on those who practice such abomination. If you continue with such a lifestyle, be aware what your lot will be on Judgment Day for all eternity. It will not be in God’s favor. Mark my words.
God does not approve of your abnormal lifestyle and He never will. Pray to Him for this enlightenment.
Christians of all must never cease to write their politicians about this abomination, that it should never be legislated. A punishment awaits those politicians who initiate this legislation, those who legislate it and condone it.

Contrary to us the U.K. does not outlaw homosexuality per se. And whilst it has legislation proscribing discrimination on basis of sexual orientation, “outraging the public decency” is an offence and it could be this couple has fallen foul of this law.

“If it’s a same sex kiss in then why were they rejected?”

The couple were asked to leave when they decided to kiss in the pub by the landlord, the “kiss in” was held, the next day or so, as a demonstration of them being asked to leave and the publicans locked the premises to keep the demonstration out so they did it in the street.

I don’t want to see heterosexual or homosexual couples kissing provocatively in public its unnecessary.

Gay men can do whatever they want in privacy but don’t throw this in other people’s faces. I would be very disgusted if I was in a pub and these gay guys were sitting at the other table kissing. I am not against gays because I work with gay guys but please dont do this in public because I think two men kissing is absolutely revolting to see…..I have seen it!!

    • Lizavier4Jesus
      April 15, 2011

“Gay people want to push their lifestyle on everyone” That is so true, Chupes man:

If people want to adopt their unusual lifestyle, no one should stop them–no one is accountable for what someone else chooses to do in his/her existence. But the fact that those people expect everyone to accept what they do as if it is a normal, everyday way of existing, that is is the issue, you see.

Gay people should understand that they are a minority group, and the majority do not accept their way of existing–not them as people. There is nothing wrong with a gay couple sitting in a pub and having drinks, where the majority of people are not gay. But why can’t they understand that the majority do not want to be witnesses to their public kissing and necking, and their gay conducts. Why can’t they wait to do that in their bedrooms.

After all, how often do we see a man and a woman kissing and necking in a public place, unless that place is a place that conducts no respect for each other. Why should two men believe that rest of us must simply admire their kissing and necking show? I’ll say, that is really, really, unfair!
