British Prime Minister David Cameron’s Conservative party looks set to continue in power after it defied expectations and won the 323 seats needed to command a parliamentary majority.

The results confirmed a shock exit poll projection published by British broadcasters late on Thursday night that put the party way ahead of the opposition Labour Party with 316 seats. Updated projections put the Conservatives on 329, an absolute majority.

The poll also predicted Labour winning 239 seats, the Scottish National Party (SNP) winning 58 and the Liberal Democrats winning 10. Labour’s tally was further revised down to 233 as the vote counts came in.

I do not hate Cameron but I have a personal vendetta against him for legislating immorality in Great Britain, causing the Queen to sign it. You should know what I mean. I do not care two hoots about him.

How long has a majority of 99 seats been a “slim victory”?
The Westminster System really is hard to explain……. UKIP gained 3.8million votes – more than both the Lib Dems and SNP combined – but only gained 1 M.P. While in Scotland the Nationalists grabbed 56 seats with 1.5 million votes. . Had they used Proportional Representation (PR) rather than “first past the post” then the Tories would have 40 more seats than Labour – not 100. UKIP 82 seats – not 1 and the Greens 24-not 1. Not that I relish the thought of 82 UKIP parliamentarians but it really does not seem a fair system.

The labour party lost the election because they refused a coalition with the snp of scottland,,,what a pretencious man this Ed .Melliband ,,,Unfortunately history will repeat itself ,promises, promises ,promises as always by politicians who thinks that politics is a family heritage…nonetheless scottland’s lion woke up with a huge roar this morning,,that was a wipe out by miss Nicola…good luck to every one…

Labour lost because they had/have a twat as thier leader. The guy is a pervy looking hermit, who does not command any authoruty! If they had a charismatic leader, tories would not have stood a chance!

Under a fair voting system UKIP would have won 83 seats. A friend in the UK has just told me that at least 270,000 ballot papers have been reported missing. !0,000 ballot papers went to the polling stations without the UKIP rep being printed on them, yet it was still allowed to go ahead. If this is true, then how is this fair.

Please, let the facts speak for themselves without any political bias. The conservatives won 333 seats against labour’s 231 seats. With all due respect, one would have to wear very deeply rose tinted glasses to call that a slim majority!

It is a slim margin when you count the other parties

Except SNP, the other parties don’t count, not even enough to form an opposing coalition to the conservatives and because the conservatives won outright the SNP finds itself now isolated.

The results so far is Con – 330, LAB – 232, SNP – 56, LD – 8, UKIP – 1. The leader of The Labour Party Ed Miliband has resigned, so has the Leaders of UKIP & The Liberal Democrats. Labour was wiped out of Scotland by the SNP. A very humiliating defeat!

Let’s call a spade a spade. The U.K. labour party took a hammering and its leader, mr. Milliband gracefully resigned this morning! The shadow chancellor, Ed Balls even lost his supposedly safe seat The pound immediately jumped to a six year high against dollar and investments are poised to pour into the U.K. from all corners of the globe. I guess the electorate took the message that one first has to earn the money before spending it!

All is fair in love, war and politics. This is how it should be taken and with a grain of salt.
