Candidates tied in polling as US election day arrives

A roller-coaster ride of an election campaign, buffeted by a superstorm and missteps on both sides, finally concludes Tuesday when America decides if President Barack Obama gets a second term or Republican challenger Mitt Romney will move into the White House in January.

In a contest reflecting the nation’s deep political chasm, Obama and Romney ran dead even in final polls that hinted at a result rivaling some of the closest presidential elections in history.

The first polling results of the day in New Hampshire’s Dixville Notch did nothing to change that notion. It was a tie.

President Barack Obama and his Republican rival, Mitt Romney, each received five votes.

Y should I vote 4 a democratic president?.when Clinton ran for his first term Rosie Douglas came to the U.S to campaign 4 him (according to Rosie). What did we received from Clinton?.Caribbean Basin Initiative (CBI,)These are just words, but did nothing 4 us.Clinton was the democratic president who started the trade war on our banana industry at the WTO.
When Obama became president Mr.Parry Bellot was excited, he said Obama as a black president will help us in the Caribbean. After 4 yrs.we have nothing to show.
Under Republican presidents our roads were rehabilited from Roseau to M/hall Airport.
North/East was Electrify,Masscare school was built,I know people from Salisbury who are now U.S citizens because of Ron.Reagan (Republican)who gave amnesty to illegals in the U.S. No amnesty by Carter,Clinton and Obama.Although Obama promised in his first year in office he would help illegals.I do not want anyone 2 write back and say republicans blocked him.Because from 2009-20011 he could pass any bill without a single support from them.Under republican presidents,we received many more projects through USAID.

We will find out who wins soon enough! God only knows at this point. Supporters of Obama hang in there. Supporters of Romney do the same. This is how the process works in this great Republic. We have the right to choose our president freely and openly. Be thankful that we do not live in a dictatorship.

I voted for Obama in 2008. Not because he was “black” but because I truly believed. Sad to say
4 years later I give him an “F.”

And so today I will be voting for Mitt. Not because he is the best candidate but because he is the better choice.

how is he the better choice? I agree that I dont think Obama did as well as most people thought, honestly if I could vote in Biden as pres I would. But Romney & Ryan, what are they really going to do to help the economic situation? Do you really know anything about his plans?
