DFP in solidarity with France

france solidarityThe Dominica Freedom Party (DFP) extends its deepest sympathy to the Government and people of France following the devastating terrorist attack in Nice on Bastille Day.

Dr. Sam Christian, speaking on behalf of the party, declared that all freedom-loving people stand in solidarity with those worldwide working together for liberty, equality, and brotherhood.

He went on to particularly sympathize with our French neighbours in Guadeloupe and Martinique, who have historically assisted us with great enthusiasm in our own times of difficulty.

He said that the Dominica Freedom Party is confident that the French people will find the strength to overcome this sternest of challenges that we all face in the world today.

At least 84 people, including 10 children, were killed when a truck slammed through a crowd in the attack.

Poor France. We have reason to be in solidarity with them. We should consider all countries vulnerable to these wicked acts. Dominica is no exception.
These days people migrate to other parts of the world for whatever reason. What irks me is the lack of gratitude which some project for their newfound country which provided them asylum and financially assisted them.
These people who do these wicked deeds to others will one day pay for it. We do know that God knows, sees and hears all things. Someday He will put an end to the wicked ones and their deeds.
This should spur us on to love and good works. More so I get the vibes. Do you? In the meantime we must pray and have patience.
This is why we should pray the Peace Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi: “Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. . . . .”
St. Paul said, “God’s Kingdom is not made up of words but of power” also, the power of prayer from us who are alive.

I also support the people of Syria, Iraq, Libya and all the other countries who are being bombed on a daily basis. As human beings we all feel pain and sorrow. Alll lives matters.

You should comprehend the situation. This bombing is to try to deter or eradicate ISIS. You do know what ISIS has done in those countries. You also know how many people ISIS executed, murdered and displaced.
Those who bomb these countries, do their utmost not to bomb civilians. Try reading this news with an open mind. You would do well to pray for them, for peace in the world and also in Dominica.

The target is ISIS stronghold and their weapons to curb their evil activities and to prevent them from doing more harm to the people.. In fact to eradicate them entirely.

Good to see my party on the ball.

I find is too much wickedness in this world. After all man! And we have to speak up about things that matter. The French really help us a lot.

Keep it up and maintain your high standards. The masses and dem doh appreciate that now, but in time they’ll see allu positive
