KOBLENZ, GERMANY (BNO NEWS) — A man nicknamed the ‘German Fritzl’ by media on Tuesday was sentenced to over 14 years in prison for sexually abusing and raping his daughter and his twin stepsons.

According to DPA news agency, Detlef S., 48, admitted in court to 160 counts in regards to sexually abusing his daughter, stepson, and his stepdaughter, with whom he also fathered seven children.

In addition, the defendant also forced his two daughters to have sex with men in exchange for money. Judge Winfried Hetger sentenced the 48-year-old truck driver to 14 and a half years in prison.

On Monday, Detlef S. admitted only abusing his daughter and to fathering seven children with his step-daughter at the Koblenz Court. The move was considered a desperate attempt to reduce sentence.

Eventually, the defendant acknowledged the 160 counts for the offenses committed between 1987 and 2010. He began abusing his 18-year-old daughter when she was nine years old.

The victims told the court they were terrified of him to report the abuse which occurred at a home in the village of Fluterschen, 100 kilometers north-west of Frankfurt. The case surfaced after a letter handed to youth welfare officers by the daughter last year.

The case has been compared with the one of Austrian Joseph Fritzl. In 2009, Fritzl, 74, was sentenced to life for fathering seven children with his daughter Elisabeth. He kept her locked in a dungeon for 24 years and raped her in repeated occasions.

You know I cannot understand that after a person rape, murder, steal or inflict any pain to anyone that they should be put in jail to eat my tax money. That person should be put to death. Just figure it out after a person rape your child, he is then put in jail and your money has to feed that same person. Government must look into that.

To be honest……14 years is like an all-inclusive vacations package….he got a deal..after 14 yrs he will walk away and still be able to tell the story? where is the justice ?…he needed a slow death…….Hang him in a bag one inch above the ground, next to a bee hive…rub a little honey on his ass..let them sting him daily….put some brown suger on his head, around his neck and his balls with some fourmi rouge. in the hot sun…. put some cheese in his socks… some big rats to chew on his toes…make sure he can see and hear every thing but put duct tape on in mouth..have some naked women weeping him daily….not too hard….but long enough to feel some real pain…while they smile at him…..

i wonder which is worse sexual abuse or physical, verbal physcological, or emotional abuse. i was spared from sexual abuse but had to live through all the others. i think my father should have gone ahead and done it. just put the icing on the cake because there is nothing more he could do to make it hurt any worst.

All forms of abuse are detrimental, child and adult ones. We do have a problem in the world. Some parents are godless. Whether godless or not in previous years they did not receive parental counseling on how to nurture/discipline children. Rather than talk to their children, some of them shouted at their children and slewed derogatory words to them. This is in addition to the type of example which they projected in the home.
I recently informed someone, “Parents must be careful what is stated in the presence of children and how they act towards them.” They will either adopt what they heard and experienced and/or repeat the words of their parents.”
Obviously, the children will revolt against being shouted at. As children, human beings who feel that they are not treated appropriately, they have every right to do so.
Children must be wanted and loved. They are children only once. Whatever occurred in their childhood could follow them to adulthood. A pattern is set, often not for their benefit and that of their children and grandchildren…
Take heart, do your utmost to put this behind you with the help of God. If you have children, keep in mind your experience and that you will be a better parent. The world is in dire need of better parents and good parenting.
You are not alone. Many children throughout the world have undergone such an experience and some still do. Take heart. Forgive your parent(s).
      God bless you!

        @ papamet

When you comment on this Website know that many people from around the world are also reading it.
You know what you are talking about? Then let us know about it.
I have given godly counseling. Do you think you or whoever are the only one who experienced such? Many children of the world, many of whom are now adults have had similar experience and others are still experiencing it.
One of it is for YOU to seek counseling. The second is to pray for those who hurt and/or persecute you. The third is to forgive. Take it to the Lord in prayer.
You should not go about with this pain and sorrow until you die. It will eat at your heart and make you a bitter person. You must be free of this bondage so that you can enjoy life as God ordained you to be.
Know this and console yourself! Whoever has harmed children, God has seen and taken note. Such people will not escape God’s punishment. God will take care of them in His own good time. Our Lord spoke about it.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said: “Unless you forgive from the heart neither will my heavenly Father forgive you.”
It is imperative that you forgive. This does not mean you will forget.
You will forgive only with the help and healing of God. What more do you expect me to state?
I wish you well and God’s blessing, grace and peace.
