Libya’s foreign minister defects

Libyan Foreign Minister Moussa Koussa

LONDON — Libyan Foreign Minister Moussa Koussa arrived in Britain on Wednesday to seek refuge after quitting the government in protest against leader Moammar Gadhafi’s attacks on civilians.

“He has told us that he is resigning his post. We are discussing this with him and we will release further detail in due course,” a British Foreign Office spokesman said, adding that “his role was to represent the regime internationally — something that he is no longer willing to do.”

British officials urged Gadhafi’s other supporters to desert him.

Why don’t u stop spreading misinformation?

The US role isn’t done….they were leading the war, doing nearly all the bombing and Obama was under serious pressure from Americans. So they handed over command to NATO. They are no longer in COMMAND but America’s military is still involved.

MOTS didn’t you read that Obama has sent the CIA into Libya? Haven’t you heard that Hillary Clinton is backing arming the rebels? Does that sound like America’s role is done to you???

BTW, Obama’s approval rating just sunk to an all-time low..You think that would have happened if American’s were happy he went to war with Libya? Think about it!!

Don’t you know that Obama as well as the rest of them lies?
He is only a puppet for essentially the U.N. That is who he works for, not the people of the U.S.
False statements to justify invasions of other countries are constantly made. Look at Kuwait, Iraq, Afganistan, latin America, south America, Asia, Russia. It is world wide.

Military forces of power countries are employed via the U.N. to invade other countries on behalf of the elite who run the world and want complete control of everyone and everything.
      Look behind the velvet curtain.
The U.N. under false auspices is after control of Lybia for the oil as well as the rest of the oil and water ways involved.
Just like they removed Mubarek and they will remove any other leaders in Africa as they deem fit to accomplish their purpose.
Gadafi is no saint. On the other hand, I doubt that all of the sudden he just sic’s his military on the civilians. There is more behind it than that. The CIA has been in there, in that respective city that was attacked for 2 months organizing the staging the uprising that is going on. There are people within the country, natives, that are on the payroll of the CIA and are employed to pose as “protestors.” But actually they are instigators of the violence and don’t forget that the media is totally controlled. They don’t want you to know the truth.
They just want to justify their actions and play the “democracy” card which is essentially the “sympathy” humanitarian false premise.
They invade to kill people for “humanitarian” reasons. How hypocritical is that?
Democracy and freedom is the last thing that these people really stand for.
      They represent enslavement and communism.

Yeah, and so allegedly why you have covert and CIA officials on the ground? Do you really think this matter is going to go away until Qaddafi is brought to his knees? I am never and would never be in support of any nation or nations who go bullying other nations into giving up power, it’s ridiculous and non productive. You keep hearing protect demonstrators and civilians and what are these same people doing arming themselves to take over the Country by force and you want me to support that? Give me a break! Diplomacy just like what they used to get him to stop his nuclear program which for all intent and purposes could have been for peaceful energy purposes. That’s why some of us are like a bunch of puppets in the Caribbean who would swallow anything they throw at us because we want a visa and don’t have the Guts like Fidel Castro and a few others to stand up to aggression, if he was a easy walk over himself, he would have been long gone but the people of Cuba would die for their Country than for outsiders to come in and tell them what to do. DNO as usual good job. Stand up for your right and Country.
