(Reuters) – Photographs acquired by Reuters and taken about an hour after the U.S. assault on Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad in Pakistan show three dead men lying in pools of blood, but no weapons.
The photos, taken by a Pakistani security official who entered the compound after the early morning raid on Monday, show two men dressed in traditional Pakistani garb and one in a t-shirt, with blood streaming from their ears, noses and mouths.
The official, who wished to remain anonymous, sold the pictures to Reuters.
Well lets see if he walks the earth anymore or any of his famous videos surfaces
enlighten me people. the Americans, with the aid of their allies, the British and France have been fighting for almost 1 decade with the aim of capturing, and executing 1 man-Osama Bin Laden.
Mr. president said most recently, that the American troops will all be out of Afghanistan by December 2011, all of a sudden, the Americans have shot- an unarmed Bin Laden (who resisted), did whatever autopsy, and buried him with hours (Islamic rituals?). No pics will be released.
now, my questions are: why isn’t America boasting this success, why isn’t at least 1 pic being circulated, y leave the world to speculate? Saddam’s hanging can be viewed of youtube anytime, Bin’s death is even a greater victory for America!!
and why didn’t the British and French army commanders, heads or directives know of that before? @ least before the breaking news?

DNO, would you be kind enough to tell your reading audience when did the Pakistanis took the pictures of the dead men in bin Laden’s hide out, of which none of them looked like bin Laden?
And by the way if the Pakistan government, nor the military knew nothing of the operation, until it was over, by which time Osama bin Laden’s body was already taken to Afghanistan!
Why should anyone expect pictures which were taken at the place of the incident after bin Laden’s body was long gone, would still find his dead body there?

Why should the photos look like Bin Laden? The article did not claim that!!! The original news release indicated that the body was taken away and buried at see. The headline here is misleading
my people i know you might comment on what i have to say , however i have heard Bin Laden dead for quite some times now, he was deceased some yrs ago, i almost beleive what the news say, so i want to see proof. no proof no evidence, so there it is, any questions

America released a statement days ago saying that they will not release the pics so I don’t even get why people looking for him. Releasing those pics will just infuriate Muslim extremists and give them a re recruiting strategy. Well done keeping them private. I dont want to see dead people anyway

1. Yes, officials didn’t want a burial place on land turned into a terrorist shrine, and Islamic tradition dictates that a body must be buried within 24 hours.
2. No, his body should have been shown to the public before any kind of burial.
3. The body wasn’t bin Laden, and the burial at sea is part of a cover-up.
one does not need a body to create a shrine, thats totally bogus if islams want to create a shrine they can do it without the body, the americans are just fool of s#$@
Some one would have had a tape from Bin laden himself by now, embarassing America, to say he is not dead. His daughter saw them shot him. She gave the Pakistani details, he was shot infront of his family!!!! They will tell the truth at some point. Obama will not risk his ENTIRE presidency on Osama!!!!!!

I hope that you reside in Dominica and not in the U.S. There are too many who reside in the U.S. , Canada and Europe and are enjoying all what life has to offer yet they continue to criticize the U.S.
If Dominica were in trouble, in that, another country invaded Dominica the U.S. may just come to its rescue.

I agree with you… and Marilyn Monroe too. And after more than 40 years and the trial and guilt of the criminals, many still believe in conspiracy theories about JF Kennedy and Dr Martin Luther King. But my real issue with this story is that the headline does not match what the short article is actually saying. I know Reuters would not make that kind of silly error. They have real editors who went to journalsim school and they are watching their every word with this unfolding case, so the ‘fake’ headline here must be DNOs!

Think of it people, if he really was not killed, wouldn’t you expect him to come out in a month’s time, holding the day’s newspaper and touting the President of the United States as a liar.
Don’t you think Obama knows that if Bin Laden was not killed, he would soon come out in a video proving he is alive, and then that would be the end of his (Obama’s) integrity and career.

you are right but what if he died before that night. hey i’m not saying tht he wasn’t killed that night, but there are differtn theoriesw out there, a bit of skepticism exist even by the scholars, they buried his body where theree is possibley no hope of retrievng it…..and i read that sea burial is agianst islamic culture . i think the most credible source would be the children and dwomen who were said to have been there

Why is the obvious so difficult to see? If America had made the mistake of leaving the body to be photgraphed and made public like these three, can you imagine the amount of problems that would cause? Any country that had taken Osama’s body to be buried would have had to deal with his followers because they would take over the place as a shrine. It is not against ‘Islamic culture’ to be buried at sea if sea is within a certain distance away from the place of death, and a suitable land space is not available.

the american after the raid only flew bin ladin body to the aircraft career and left all other bodies at the resident.let us go back when the chinese said that it was the pakistani who killed bin ladin then how comes the pakistani can come up with 3 bodies and not the body of bin ladin.the answer is the american killed bin ladin went with the body and left the cleaning up for the pakistani

Action was happening under Pakistan nose and they were asleep, the come and and they expected to meet the body of Bin Laden on the floor waiting for them? Shame they shame.
