If the govt has the time and resources to do a islandwide census then they have the time to also clean the voters list and conduct a reregistration of voters enough of the excuses.
A census is very important. It enables the government to know the size, composition and distribution of its population. It aids the incumbent administration in devising proper strategic plans for the country’s development with the resources it has.
In Dominica, unlike other countries, this exercise is a futile undertaking. This Skerrit-DLP led regime is shrouded in complete darkness. Critical data needed for proper planning of the country’s way forward, is inaccessible to the public.
To buttress my argument, here are the objective facts. Ask the ‘statistics department’ of government for these statistics and you come up empty handed every time:
*unemployment percentage *percentage of people below the poverty line *about of CBI moneys collected *outs migration (how many citizens) etc.
Dominica is easily the WORST governed country in the C/bean, very possibly in the western heisphere.
