Hello and good morning my people. This tree was Illegally brought to Dominica and it should be destroyed plus it don’t bear
    Any fruit.

Hello and good morning my people. Well I see that I received four Thumbs Down but that don’t tell me what your displeasure with my post is. Anyway prove to me that this tree is native to our country and show me the fruits.

Go and do some hard work and get the fruits of thy labour. Say thanks for pine wood. The passion fruit was not native to Dominica some tears back.

This is beautiful! It is indeed a majestic tree which cannot be missed. As the words of a song, “Stand tall, don’t you fall.”

  4. In the wire wire
    December 30, 2014

It appears that the electric wires are clamped to the pine tree at to different areas on the stem. If I’m correct, that is a fire hazard. Hmmm pine! Where are the electic posts. But hope, I’m wrong.

I took a second look at it and observed the wires. I hope they are safe as well as the tree.

Bois D’inde is situated above in grand bay ,above grand collibris area which is better known a bordio,, the name bois d’inde is taken from a french spice which is used for cooking ,making tea,bay rum and the steamed water after or during the preparation of bay rum can be used to bath when it is diluted with pure cold water,,,the elderly people used it also as purfume for the house hold….

A magnificent tree, however the location is still properly called Bois D’inde ( French for Bay Tree), after an estate of that name, off the road from Grand Bay to Tete Morne.
