thing is, apple has the best after sales service. but! dominica does not have an aoople store. that is the problem. apple have a policy that if you phone is under warranty (and you can extend the warranty for a small sum), if anything happen to your phone and they cannot fix it in shop within ten minutes, you get a brand new phone. how do i know? i did just that three days ago. the iphone4 is amazing, works well, battery is good, apps are amazing, literally everything. problem is that unless it is under contract it is very expensive.
but what i do know for these companies is this! the phones that are returned or bought back off customers in the first world is reconditioned, packaged as new ans sold to the third world. this is why companies in the third world can even manage to introduce these phones. if they were literally new then there is no way many people could afford it.
how do i know this? i was told by directors of phone companies.

The Iphone 4 is nice, but there are equally or better phones out right now. The Evo, the mytouch 4g, the droid x, the Atrix are all good phones. To do video calls you need wifi speeds, which most of these phones can do. They all switch between 2g, 3g and 4g networks
I personally have a 4g mytouch. Yes, it doesn’t have the HDMI out like the EVO, but its just as good or better in some cases. The problem I’ve seen with apple phones are poor signal strength. Apple also has had issues with its video players, because they do not run adobe flash and are not upgradeable.

I’ll stick to my blackberry…how many people will have iphone for me to chat with? even if i could afford it i wouldn’t buy it because I can use my money in a better way or just save it…we have to learn to resist things that will put us in debt or cause us to do unthinkable things in order to obtain them. Remember the previous article featured on DNO about some of the wealthiest people in the world being the most ‘frugal’…ie not wasting the money they work hard for on things that will enrich other people? Here is you answer I purchase my Iphone 4 dead off from apple in Canada and that was a whopping 900 Canadian for a 16G now it goes for 649.00 with no contract if you want I mobile which allows you track your phone if lost or stolen then that’s another 100$ . I Don’t think this should be brought to Dominica since these phones are used for business purpose predominantly…..
