I, Anthony Charles. along with the Marigot Constituency, stand in full solidarity with Honorable Edison James and others including Lennox Linton who are being persecuted.
I totally denounce this glaring political and unconscionable suppression and oppression by the government of the Commonwealth of Dominica against bold and resolute patriots.
This latest action taken against the Honorable Edison James takes Dominica to a questionable level of judicial administration.
Today’s incident reminded us of a very sad situation in which three Marigot Parliamentarians, Mr. Linton, Mr. James and myself, stand before the court for simply expressing our democratic rights to preserve democracy in our beloved country and advance the interest of the Marigot constituency.
As Dominicans, each and every one of us is responsible for the protection and preservation of our democracy, and we must collectively speak against our government’s heavy hand and oppression.
I call on my fellow Marigot Constituents to exercise calm, restraint and peace, but nonetheless not without being ready to stand and protest against this DLP government when the call is made.
We need to elevate resentment against this failed government.
We must continue to stand in full solidarity with Honorable Edison James, our admired former Prime Minister, and every other victim of this DLP oppressive and incompetent government.

How does the unraveling of a legitimate legal process amount to “persecution and oppression?” You would notice that none of Eddison’s loud-mouthed attorneys have filed a motion claiming “persecution and oppression.” There is a reason for this: They see no persecution and oppression in this legitimate process. I do feel that we should not allow evil to prevail because I know if it was a Dominican lawyer that was paid so much money to falsely prosecute an innocent Edison James and heads of the opposition that Dominican would be given a wooden house custom made.
Dominicans should remain calm but individuals should stay quiet, don’t call radio stations to make any threats and individually deal with the matter as they see fit. A strong message should be sent to the corrupt politicians and greedy and corrupt lawyers so that others could learn.
But I agree the one and only airport is well located and individual from that area should use it to their advantage without planning anything with anyone . Furthermore a trip from the airport to Roseau is very long and isolated and the mountains of rocks could cause serious landslides

That’s good to hear but I feel the community of Marigot should have their own protest to let Skerrit know that enough is enough. Come on Marigot is where the airport is and a few blocks away is where those Chinese have taken our land for fake international airport. The people of Marigot should arrange a secret meeting with the Trinidad based prosecutor(s) somewhere in the the mountains so they could better understand what the hell has taken place. Furthermore, they should also have meetings with a group of Chinese so they could also tell us what the hell is taking place. I suggest these meetings should take place in the mountains just for privacy

Meeting started and ended well. Those are trump up charges.
