Antigua and Barbuda’s Thyana Kai Sebastian has arrived in the Nature Isle, preparing to participate in the 2024 Miss OECS Pageant. The pageant is scheduled for January 12, and Sebastian, a former Labour Queen of 2018, is looking forward to representing Antigua and Barbuda with pride.

She joined the other four competitors on the island and is all set to exhibit her talent and compete for the coveted title. Born on February 24, 1997, Thyana started her dance journey at the Antigua Dance Academy, where she learned Afro-Caribbean, Jazz, and Modern Contemporary dance styles.

Along with her sisters, she founded The Elite Dancers Antigua in 2007, where she is Principal Dance Choreographer.

Thyana is dedicated to preserving cultural heritage through the captivating art of dance. Her pageant journey began with a significant win in the Antigua Barbuda Labour Queen Pageant in 2018, and she also participated in The Queen of Carnival Competition 2023, showcasing her grace and versatility on stage. Thyana also works as a Dance Instructor with the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Creative Industries.

The reigning Miss OECS, Keriann Thomas, is also from Antigua and Barbuda. A law enforcement officer by profession, Thomas excelled in multiple segments and received accolades in Best in Creative National Wear, Best Creative National Wear, Best Swimwear, Best in Swimwear, Best Evening Gown, and Best in Evening Gown categories. She is also in Dominica presently.

The Windsor Park Stadium Forecourt in Dominica will host the pageant at 8 pm on January 12.
