Music is ingrained in me, my passion, the deepest expression of my soul – Chrycee

Unique! Passionate! Real! The Melodious, heartfelt sounds of Chrycee Musique pulsates through every crevice of one’s being, touching the heart and soul. Taking you to new heights, soothing you into sheer bliss! That is the epitome of Chrycee Musique!

Hailing from Simply Beautiful St. Lucia, Chrycee is a talented, soulful singer/songwriter, recording artiste and performer, with an undeniable passion for music.  Growing up with a DJ father, Chrycee was constantly exposed to music of all genres. From as way back as a tot—makeshift mic in hand!—she’d imitate the melodious voices of internationally acclaimed artists, glimpsing to and developing her obvious talent.

A self-professed Beautiful Dreamer, Chrycee vibrates positivity, happiness and excitement, boldly pursuing her passion; flavouring the music, entertainment and arts landscape with her unique savour.

She writes and sings about life and love, capturing in her soulful melodic compositions everyday experiences. Indeed, Chrycee captivates audiences with her emotive voice, deep lyrics, vivacious personality and her distinctively chic style, as she immerses her listeners in a spellbinding musical memoir.

A firm believer in the beauty of dreams, Chrycee says she refuses to limit herself to restrictive thinking. Rather she moves through every-day with the understanding that anything is possible and achievable, once she is relentless in her pursuit; always seeking to grow, develop and learn.

By her own account, she lives by three mantras:

  • “Little by Little One Walks Far” –Peruvian Proverb
  • “Change your thoughts and you change your world.” –Norman Vincent Peale
  • “You were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose and to do it courageously.” – Steve Maraboli

Determined each day to breathe life to her dreams and to live her passion; guided by her favourite mantras, Chrycee says over the last two years she has been able to achieve several noteworthy accomplishments.

On February 14, 2016, Chrycee was an official part of the performance cast for a Hollywood Pre-Grammy production, hosted by 5 times Grammy Winning Producer, Devine Evans, at the Avalon in Hollywood, California. Further, Chrycee is an officially published writing contributor to Devine Evans’ book, Sheet Music: The Diary of a Songwriter.

She has since gone on to perform at the Study, in Hollywood Boulevard, California.

Meanwhile, Chrycee describes 2015 as a whirlwind year of excitement and success having planned and executed a multi-city music promotional tour within the United States. Chrycee’s US promotional tour included acoustic soul performances in Houston, Brooklyn, Staten Island and Hollywood Florida, and ran from August 22nd to September 01st, 2015. From there she went on to perform in Santa Monica, California, and at Monroe College’s first ever Reggae Fest in New Rochelle, New York, organized in collaboration with VP Records.

Prior to this, in April 2015, Chrycee officially launched her Honest Musings Album—an enthralling diverse musical chronicle of love and life realities. Hooked, an upbeat blues track from Honest Musings has since been digitally distributed by VP Associated Label, VPAL Music.

Another major honour for Chrycee, she says, is the fact that in April 2014 she performed at Tobago Jazz Experience, when she opened for Music icons, Keyshia Cole and Earth Wind and Fire.
